Additional - you really should watch the movie "The Third Eye" (Indonesia) as well as "The Eye" (Hong Kong) they are super creepy movies. There's a Hollywood remake of The Eye, but you're best sticking with the original.

other dwellings on a tiny island nearby. Where
they can more safely see what might emerge
for a swim off Caribou Island. Their response ?
They ring a bell and people go behind thick doors
and close window shutters. When the bell rings
twice the small island stops anything noisy. On
three rings whatever it was was has gone back
into the adjacent larger island. There's much to
see from the lighthouse. Up where that bell is.
They're either in bed or stand closer to the bell
from sunset until the sun is up again.
I am always intrigued and even more when it's from Ontario. I am never going camping deep in the woods.!! As soon as I started listening to scary deep woods stories few years ago, my interest for certain things have definitely changed !!! 👺😳😱😈😵

Love your videos but maybe iv listened to too many stories, but I think some of these stories have been used in a couple other videos like the first one. I know if heard it on a couple other compilations not saying it's bad, but I sometimes have to skip if I have heard it to much. But I love your other stories I haven't heard. I always get goosebumps!

I feel like I’m getting to the point where I click on new videos and then halfway through, or even second story in, I’m hearing old stuff. If I’m falling asleep, I’d rather have older videos near the end when I’m not as awake. Lol.
I work at a State Park and essentially hike around all day, usually alone.
Ive definitely gotten bad gut feelings and decided to turn back a few times whilst out exploring.
Ive noticed how in these story's how quickly people realize something is wrong but dont act on it.
Listen to your instincts they are there for a reason.

Knowing the amount of bad things that could happen at night in the deep woods due to the amount of stories and posts accumulated, I have absolutely no interest in deep woods camping or even go to/or rent a secluded cabin in the middle of nowhere. I'm now too old and know of too many freaky things that have f-ked people's life up
I moved back from the city, after over 20 years, to a small town. Once I got here, I wanted to go even further away from people. I think I changed my mind lol. I'm not big on guns, but would surely want one or more if we moved to the woods!
@@pamalawashington9371 yeah I lived in a small town and one of the most frustrating things I found was that I had to travel about 30min to an hour away to do anything. That was too much for me so I moved closer to the city

Camping has always been a horror story to me
For me as well, unless it's in a camper. Both times I camped outside, I didnt like the outcome. Once I found a tick on me and about had a heart attack, ripping that thing off while screaming bloody murder! I know that's not how you are supposed to do it, but luckily it worked out. That ish gave me nightmares, so I can't even imagine these scenarios! Screw that! I will keep my butt at home. The only way I want to go deep in the woods will be with a crowd, guns and bug spray. I'm not into guns, so I'm really better off at home.

My school applied some restrictions, but I think it's only a matter of time until it closes too. My local pharmacy ran out of Purell...

I'm glad the Is a long one tonight ive have had a day today, daughter was off school this week due to her having the flu an a few hrs ago was informed that all schools in Ohio are closed for 3 weeks starting monday. So thanks mortis for letting the darkness take cobtrol while I'm cleaning my house head to toe 💙
Mine have been out sick all week too. They're going back tomorrow, on a 2 hour delay, then home for 3 weeks. We're in southern Ohio. Hopefully keeping them home will slow down the spread of this virus

I've been stuck inside before the the pandemic. My cerebellum (part of the brain) doesn't have room within my skull so it's being squished from within. It can be fixed by removing a piece of my skull. Your videos have been helping me stay sane.

All I can think of is having something as terrifying as a heart attack when you're all alone in the middle of nowhere, then falling only to be met with breaking a leg, feeling that immense pain and THEN with another pain of hitting your head on furniture. And when you finally meet the floor, you're in the most terrible pain of your life, wondering what to do. You try to get up but scream in agony from the broken leg, so you lay your head back down. You feel a warm substance running down the back of your neck and check to find blood on your fingertips. This is when you look at the floor behind you and realize there's an intimidating amount of blood spilling from a painful, tender, gap in your head. This is the moment you realize these are the final snippets of your life so your heart races faster, causing more pain in your chest and only speeding up your blood loss. You feel lightheaded, horrified, alone and vulnerable as there is nothing more to do. You have no hope because the potential of someone hearing or finding you is negative. You try calling out for help, screaming as loud as you can but hear silence, aside from the sounds of the forest. Your family isn't expected until 3 days from now and will find your corpse upon arrival. You were so excited to see some faces that made your drunken life slightly less miserable, even if you didn't show it well, and you don't even have that last opportunity to see them again. You've always been alone and will therefore die alone. Your worst fear is currently unraveling.

How is finding your aunt's body a "scary story"? That story was sad, not scary. The fact that the author had absolutely no sympathy for his deceased family member who died ALONE and afraid is really offputting.
I know you don't write the stories, but i suggest getting an editor to point out which stories shouldn't be read on the channel. Theres been a few really rude/insensitive stories or obviously false and hard to listen to fabricationsfrom very inexperienced writers.
