Camping stories are definitely interesting to listen to , but being stuck in the middle of the ocean is definitely way more terrifying.. a bottomless black hole under your feet, anything from octopus, sharks, or whatever creaters we have no idea even exists yet can grab your foot and pull you down and you have no way of fighting off! DEFINITELY more fucking scary and gives me nightmares hahaha

It wasn't until he said "the woman," that I realized he was actually talking about a person, a mother! I hate the whole men and females thing but it's so ingrained in society, into the use of the English language that even women say it. I had someone tell me it was an unwritten rule they had to follow in the military, that the people in whatever group they were in were told to refer to men as men and women as females. More recently it's been pointed out as something misogynists do to relay what they believe to be the second class or subhuman place woman occupy. After being told that by someone who believes it, it makes even casual use of female instead of woman seem more insidious...

The moral reason would be to find ID'S for the cops- the (probably) realistic answer is to find their money and expensive goods BEFORE you call the cops and they take the fancy gear into evidence 😅

I'm a semi driver, and I drive across the USA. I met a guy at a truck stop that had all kinds of expensive camera equipment, including night vision (I think he said version or level 3). He said he was setting up to do a long range recording across the open ground (we were in norther New Mexico). He said that there were "humanoid" beings that come up from underground at night, if they don't know there are any people around. He never said if he thinks they're native to Earth, or some type of extraterrestrial. He did say that it wouldn't be the first time he got footage. Man did I wish I could go along, but I couldn't stay, and I can't leave the load anyway. I found it interesting at the very least, and he did seem hesitant to even tell me, which is understandable.
I just remembered something that happened to my to my newly married daughter one night. She was sitting in her car waiting for her husband when she saw a figure dressed in black with a hood covering its face step out of a car and grow alarmingly tall as it stood up straight. The figure stood still for a few seconds before suddenly gliding - not walking- literally gliding through the parking lot towards my daughters car. As the figure got closer my daughter slid further down in her seat gripped with fear as she frantically texted her husband to hurry. When she realized the dark figure was headed straight towards her car she jumped up and quickly locked all the doors, then ducked down on the floor in front of the seat where she could peek out her window without being seen. The dark figure had almost reached the car door, nearly giving my daughter a heart attack when it suddenly veered off to one side, gliding around the car and on through the parking lot. As it passed my daughter noticed the figure was wearing a name tag from the Sonic drive in and roller skates as well as black pants and a black hoodie. It was a sonic employee, a girl who had her hair piled on top of her head in a messy bun which had made her seem extra tall with the hood pulled over her head. Some scary things turn out to not be that scary when you see them up close.
