To all those complaining that he's overusing the laptop, please keep in mind that this isn't DMC. The entire point of Thre3style is to come up with the most creative, party-rocking set you can. I agree that there were plenty of other guys throwing down much more technically involved sets, but Shintaro's was one of the few that combined pure technical skill with a smooth, original flow that was actually dance-able and frankly a lot of fun to listen to. You look at someone like Trentino who did some of the most ridiculous finger drumming and scratching known to man and yet he didn't win. And I'd be you it's for the exact reason that this isn't a competition where technicality is the sole criteria (although it is a big part, not denying that). I think the only other guy that really gave Shintaro a run for his money was Byte, but at the end of the day both threw down amazing sets!

I don't care what all the nostalgic guys have to say, but he rocks! I am a bit old myself, still remember when I watched the DMC semi-finals live back in the 90s, but that's the past. I loved the scratch with SuperMario, a bit cheesy but impressive.
