3:49 Mathematician here. There's different flavours of the probability you are looking for. The probability of Chilln drawing electric twice in his first two spins is 1/(18*18)=1/324=0,3%. However, the probability of Chilln drawing electric again, once it's already known that he picked electric the first time, is just 1/18=5,6%. Finally, the probability that Chilln picks the same type twice in consecutive spins, somewhere in his 6 draws, is 1-(17/18)^(6-1)=24.9%, so not that rare.

What you are not factoring in is also they fact that he had spun the same gen and type… the drawing would end up being 1/64 just for the generations… because you multiply… then you would do the type like you did and then multiply the two together to get the final answers… it is really rare and the way you did your math it is almost impossible the way your thing came out
Gen 2 wasn't great either. I mean, sure you had Ampharos, but it's not in the game, and the only other options are Elekid, Pichu, Chinchou, and Lanturn (unless they could have chosen Raikou, I can't remember if they said no legendaries, but I would assume they did). Lanturn's the best out of those 4, but its BST is still only 460.

They each have to choose 4 different types other than Dragon, one pokemon of each of those types, then one final dragon to represent the "Champion" of the elite four. and for the first time in a video they use only 5 pokemon!

I like the idea but think it shouldn't be all fully evolved. Gym leaders have baby mons too. So maybe do like 2 baby, 3 mid and 1 fully evolved for the gym leader challenge
Just because there weren't fairy types introduced until Gen 6, there are still fairies in the earlier gens that were re-typed. Clefable, Togekiss, Mawile to name a few. I hope in the future you guys count them instead of skipping.
If they grew up with the older generations then no it's better to skip. Even not under a time limit I still consider a lot of fairies to be normal type. Having only three seconds, and having to have it be valid for this game, that's too much. If the time limit was increases maybe

@@jaycro3284 When he faced Venusaur with primarina he could have gone for the misty explosion and take it from there. Fusionflare and Thunderbold did surprising damage. I doubt that Manectric could outspeed Charizard though, but still
Misty Explosion was a better choice than Water Pulse on Venusaur and probably would’ve killed, then Clobopus can hit a single attack and risk Manectric vs Charizard in the 1v1 since a stab Thunderbolt would go first for super effective damage
In all fairness to QuickGG on that first choice, Elekid and Pichu are THE ONLY non-legendary gen 2 electric mons in Sword and Shield to my knowledge. That was a no-win situation.
I love the concept but to be fair it seems like Chilln was kinda making sure Quick got later gens. It’s not that deep it was probably a complete accident it happens on both sides. The last video chilln put out had Quick get the dual type category and completely ignored the Turtonator right in his face and ended up with a broken Talonflame.
What if you each pick a team for yourselves, and then at the end, flip a coin to see if you're going to trade teams with the other person? Then it makes it harder to risk taking a strong mon or not! This one was fun too i'd like to see this challenge again!
Here’s the idea.. Spin the wheel for gen and type.. Then both name which Pokemon you’d like from the same spin. If you both name the same mon then you both have to pick a baby, if you both name a different mon you get to keep them on the team. Up to you guys whether you want to include legends etc. Love the videos dudes, been watching years!

I think you guys need to retire this challenge. 3 seconds to name (in some cases) the only Pokemon to exist in this game is pretty difficult. Alternatively, you can give yourself a lot more time to guess. For example, if Charizard uses Burn Up, it would be pure Flying since it's a dual type. However, if something like say Kantonian Arcanine uses it, then the Arcanine would end up being typeless because it is pure Fire.
I thought that could also have been a strategy to keep the Venosaur at full health. But if Primarina was faster she would have got 1 hit on Charizard before he lost the fire type.
Yayayayayayayaya Edit: Video idea - Spin the gen wheel and then use a random number generator to select a Pokedex entry within that gen. You get 3 skips each.
New challenge idea. Spin a wheel 3 times (2 pokemon per) with certain categories like rain, sun, cheese, trick room, sand, meta etc. And based on the wheel u have to choose mons that work on that specific category (torkal for sun, amoongus for cheese) and then fight.
Perhaps you can do a challenge where you have to tell your opponent either the highest or lowest base stat (out of the 6 different stats) of 3 mystery starters (assuming that they will end up fully evolved). Then they would have to pick their mystery starter based on this information. It would be a bit like top trumps which could involve a bit of strategy, whilst also being fun!

Y'all need to remember that gen 7 introduced some really good bug pokemon. Good options in gen 7 not including UBs: Ribombe (may be small, but is still good), Golisopod, and Vikavolt. Vikavolt is the coolest looking one in my opinion. And Araquanid is also there....

Electrike, Manetric, Plusle, and Minun are, in fact, the only 4 electric type pokemon introduced with gen 3... So yeah pretty slim pickings there.

Parental Bond doesn't work on multi-strike moves. It just makes single strike moves become double strike.

Y'all need to remember that gen 7 introduced some really good bug pokemon. Good options in gen 7 not including UBs: Ribombe (may be small, but is still good), Golisopod, and Vikavolt. Vikavolt is the coolest looking one in my opinion. And Araquanid is also there....
