@@NikoStark1 I didn’t say he was living up to 4th overall pick expectations, I’m just saying that compared to the first 15 games of the season, he’s been consistently a solid role player. Not on and off like he was at the beginning Sure he’s not playing like a 4th overall pick, but stepping up doesn’t have to mean he’s playing like an Allstar. It just means that he’s shown improvement 🤷🏾♂️ He’s still young and is developing at his own pace. I wouldn’t give up on him yet like the Bulls gave up on some of the other young guys that torch them every time they step foot back in Chicago
What Shams said at the end 4:30 was interesting. The Bulls maybe higher than the Pistons tells me he thinks the Lakers will receive LaVine and Bulls will be promised the #1 pick.
Shams doesn't actually know anything. As a matter of fact most of these Twitter "reporters" don't actually know anything. Everything is based on rumors and speculations. Clearly in this clip they have 0 clue as to what they are talking about, but there is no accountability. Shams can say whatever he wants technically but when that predictions ends up not being true no one holds him accountable for his words. We're just supposed to move on like nothing happened. This is dumb and dangerous.
The Zach LaVine/Bulls situation is a lot like Jalen Green/Rockets. In Houston Jalen Green was the team's primary scorer with plenty of shots to take while the Rockets were losers. Now they've added J. Smith, Alperen Sangun, Dillion Brooks, and PG Fred Van Fleet and are winning by playing through Sengun, Jalen Smith has been benched and is on the trading block. Zach as a volume shooter is going through the same ordeal with the Bulls. The team no longer relies on Zach to chuck up the most shots in a losing effort and until Zach learns how to effect winning without scoring 25 ppg, his game will become outdated for most teams trending toward having 5 or 6 players in double-figure scoring vs 2 or 3.
Blow it up is all the fans and media been talking about. I say build a championship team. Why should we give up superstar , all stars for hopes of getting a superstar rookie. Coby and P will was top picks and see where that got us. Add allstars to the team. We been rebuilding since MJ left the Bulls. Tired of rebuilding from the bottom
