    We are absolutely blessed to have them in uk waters and I am trying to educate Recreational Anglers to stop fishing for them - broken hooks - lines - are a sharks worst nightmare - apart from overfishing and pollution of course - Bringing sharks aboard their boats for photos causes them even more problems! SHARKS MUST BE PROTECTED - Great Video

    Blue sharks are one of my personal favorites. Their big eyes, beautiful blue coloring, and slender, sleek bodies are just so magnificent. There is something that's almost cute about them. The playful juveniles are definitely adorable. The one that just sort of hangs out with you at 3:57 made me giggle. Thank you for the footage. It is a shame to know their numbers are being threatened by fishing.

    They have such funny, sweet faces. All the better to see you with. I loved seeing this , I never really appreciated how flexible and manoeuvrable they are. Beautiful sharks 😍

    Beautiful sharks. Thank you for documenting them in a respectful and informative way.
    More needs to be done to protect these wonderful animals. The fishing industry and China need serious sanctions and reprimands. They’re literally killing the oceans.

    Last summer during the heatwave I went out for a swim of the south Devon coast as I often do. Going out fairly far (around 100M) of shore, suddenly this black dagger like thing flies up out of the water, silver streaming water on the under (south facing sunny side), a kind of floppy fin on the back. It's around another 60M further out to sea from me. It drops back into the blue, and is gone. It came approximately 7 to 9 ft out of the water. I never even computed that it might be a shark until the Devon Wildlife Trust suggested it might be, think it was some kind of mental block from watching all those Jaws films as a kid. Anyway it was very brief, baffling, incredible and honestly, it has unnerved me a bit when I go for a swim now. I've seen Cretaceous mammals at sea in the past but this was definitely not the same. What awesome creatures! I will definitely be scanning around this summer when I go out for a swim, who knows, I might see another?

    I came here through The Malibu Artists channel. You are both amazing! wonderful footage, with beautiful music. No whooping and generally being annoying. I didn't even know we had sharks around the UK ! It makes me wish I could swim so that I could see them.

    In SoCal we used to have blues all over, no more, kinda rare to see them now... now we got juvenile white sharks thick as thieves all along the coast, even inside the breaking waves, they are harmless but it can be unnerving

    I don't understand..So these blue sharks do not attack people??? I have a massive fear of sharks, when I am in a water I cannot stop thinking of sharks. Is it SAFE in Mediterranean sea? Turkey? Italy? Greece? I would never go into water in America or Australia...

  • @LHoriginal

    Where abouts was this record? Also how far out did you go? I plan on doing this at some point, it looks so fun and I love sharks
    Edit: also have you tried that thing where you tip the shark upside down so they go into a trance?

  • @kit2130

    It seems like attracting sharks with chum could be counter productive.

    • @jaglancy
      @jaglancy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Quite possibly, but that’s how the dive operators attract them. It’s the same on almost all tv shows about sharks.
