We are absolutely blessed to have them in uk waters and I am trying to educate Recreational Anglers to stop fishing for them - broken hooks - lines - are a sharks worst nightmare - apart from overfishing and pollution of course - Bringing sharks aboard their boats for photos causes them even more problems! I’ve seen them in Portugal but I never knew they used to live this far north! Great to see them coming back.

I don't understand..So these blue sharks do not attack people??? I have a massive fear of sharks, when I am in a water I cannot stop thinking of sharks. Is it SAFE in Mediterranean sea? Turkey? Italy? Greece? I would never go into water in America or Australia...
