  • Here is an easy tip that can make a big impact on your fixed blade broadhead flight: Mix and match your broadheads and bolts. Really, its that simple! First things first, you need to tune your bolts! Once you have them dialed in with your field points, shooting each broadhead with each bolt will help you identify the best flying pairs. Finally, number your pairs so you know exactly what broadhead should be shot with each bolt. It's that simple!

This applies to arrows too. I’ve tried it. You’re telling people great information. This makes you so much more accurate with a bow or crossbow. It took me some time and patience, but was well worth it!!

My feildpoints shoot great . But accuracy goes out the window with broadheads they all over place . I'm on my 3rd different broadhead to try stuff getting expensive. I'm only going for a 40 yard shot. I don't know is it possible to kill a deer or get a pass threw with 100 gr feildpoints .? Also what about lighted knocks ? I'm knew to crossbow hunting for whitetail.

Absolutely cannot hunt with a field point, both unethical and illegal. Properly tuned arrows will shoot fixed blades well. If you don’t want to arrow tune, a high quality mechanical like a SEVR is another option. Good luck!

What lighted nocks do you use with the Sirius Phoenix arrows/bolts?

I shoot a Barnett xp 380 with a speed scope and Bloodsport witness 20' bolts. Dead on with 125 gr field tip and also with a Swacker practice broadhead. However, I am all over the place with my 125gr Stingers. I mean never are any shots even within 3-4 inches of each other. I would love some suggestions on how I can make my stingers work.........Love the Magnus Broadheads. Thanks

How far are you shooting when doing the paper tuning, or nock tuning?
