For sealing u just need to apply varnish once you done

I use spray varnish...so i just spray it on finished product...nothing complicated

Yes i use varnish but for this i didn't....you can use asian paints Aquadur PU...its a wood varnish but works for craft nicely

Yes ofcourse...you can use plywood, wood, MDF board or even glass.
I normally do low budget crafts upcycling waste stuff, so I use cardboard.

Yea you can use white cement....homemade glue is not suitable for this clay...its for basic sticking purposes...but yeah you can use it in paper clay
