Really appreciate your videos for keeping it real and normalizing that things don't come easy. We see other people showing off their successes and don't realize the amount of work it took to get them there. PS: the puppy is so cute!
I was just watching your reels video from 7 months ago or so. I was interested in checking more out from you and boom a new video 14 minutes ago! Keep up the great work.
Naww the puppy! Thank you for all the tips ! Im still learning before I can outreach atm but hoping at least some of my practice shots I post will get noticed and gain a following so that when I do reach out it may gain more interest by brands :) however I am considering the use of an agency option to begin with . :) just not sure how that works atm
Worked for two successful wedding and portrait photog's. They were total packages. Personality, skillful as marketers, and they were sound business women. Their photography was good but their referral network was sustaining everything. Even with all the cut throat shoot and burn competition, they thrive.
Great video here. I understand reaching out to companies, but what if your niche deals with individuals/ families? For example, graduation portraits, engagements, etc. How do you reach out to those clients?
That’s tougher with families. Usually individuals don’t respond well to cold emailing or calling. Advertising is one way to do it. Posting organic content is another. Finding the groups that these people hang out online and sharing your work can be another good way
It’s like any other business 90% of it is marketing and outreach. Rea estate agents use something called a CRM. Have you thought of using one of those to help manage and organize clients from first contact to getting paid?

Referrals can be great. Tough to rely on just one method of getting clients.

Yep exactly - something most creatives don't realize. Been using a CRM since the very beginning, it's a game changer.
What CRM are you using?
@@ChrisPieta We’ve spoken. I’m new to photography, but for real estate I was looking into Streak which works well on Chrome. Which one you using?
@@PLANETWATERMELON ah yes - I’m using go high level
@@ChrisPieta never heard of it. I’m sure it’s good if your using it.
Archie will be a great addition to the channel. #Archie
We'll see how he is behind the camera! Haha #Archie
How to do it.. now I’m not going into detail here. THIS is why the content on YT is just talking heads with not much help
