Michael never wanted to settle...Mass media always wanted to crucify him but they couldn't make it..MJ legacy lives on forever.
He was proven innocent. Accusers proved fraudulent.
Yet their disproven words are automatically believed and pushed by the media and the tabloids just to brainwash millions of people to sway opinions. It’s sad what MJ went through. The only victim was Michael and still continues to be today as well. The 1993 settlement never stopped the Chandlers from participating in a criminal case. The case was taken to 2 different Grand Juries and both refused to indict because of no evidence. Little did Michael know that settling the civil suit in 1993 would actually cause more people to come forward with false claims just to get money. Michael unfortunately had to learn it the hard way. It’s sad that the sheep won’t do any research they stick with their laughable beliefs no matter what and the really says something about their intelligence across the board.

@@RussellBaird I hate his insurance company for not letting Michael pursue the criminal trial so he could put the whole thing to rest. Because of that, more people accused him of false abuse and he ended up suffering the consequences. He is probably the most bullied celebrity of all time.
Watched several videos about these and after all those accusations against him, he looks different.. he still smiles for the fans but you can see the pain in his eyes that he’s tired and just sad 🥺 All throughout he remained as he is, a one kind hearted man.. Also the fact that he would’ve lost his constitutional rights during the trial and he also had a tour that would’ve costed a lot of money to refund. It’s also sad when you find out he wanted to go through with the trial to get justice but his lawyers wouldn’t allow him to.

I loved this reaction! Can't wait for part 2. Also I just wanted to say for the benefit of anyone in the comment section that there are multiple reasons why Michael settled the CIVIL case. First I want to point out that he didn't want to settle but he really had no choice. The bigger reason why he settled it was because back then in California they were allowing the civil case (which is for money) go before the criminal case (which is for justice.) Michael fought to have the criminal case go before but he was turned down multiple times. It has since then changed and that is not allowed anymore. If he would have gone through with the civil case first it would have given his whole defense away. That would then allow the Chandlers to change dates, places, etc etc. Also the Chandlers could have gone through with the criminal case but they decided to take the money and not continue with it. After that Jordan Chandler got emancipated from his parents and took the money and ran. Like I said there are other reasons but this is one of the bigger ones. Thats why they couldn't be sure if justice would prevail. Much love to all of you. #MJInnocent
Good post. Also dont forget that a civil trial before the criminal one would also have poisoned the jury pool. meaning almost nobody could have enterered the jury without a bias against Jackson. Imagine all the sensational articles that would have been made up etc. It would have been impossible for anyone to go into the case with a neutral mind after that.

I have the original broadcast of this interview, and I totally lost respect for Diane Sawyer after this. The way she conducted the interview and the editing was atrocious. She pissed me off so many times, and as far as Lisa Marie, she did her best, and probably said more than what we saw. Michael did look like he wanted to drop kick Sawyer a couple of times. But he maintained his composure and was quite respectful, though she didn't deserve it.

MJ was innocent and the documentary Square One covers the 1993 allegation. You guys should watch it if you haven't. Also I hate Diane Sawyer...I respect Lisa Marie but I feel like she's been kinda harsh on MJ in the past and hasn't really been great at defending him. Otherwise I'm cool with her. Yes, that's a good one to watch. I just watched it, it's crazy hearing everything that really happened and people are so blind, so dumb, and just go by hearsay with no facts or backup.
It’s a shame what Michale went through especially for the first accusation!!!!! He canceled some of his dangerous tour concerts, cried a lot, he started going to painkillers, went to rehab, lied about things, had his family fans and friends worried poor Michael. It broke his heart
He didn't mess up he did the spins he wanted to stand on his toes for 10 seconds, he only stood on them for 7 seconds for that reason alone he wasn't satisfied
Yes The Insurance Company settled but the thing is that settlement wouldn't stop them liars from testifying in a Criminal case. He REFUSED TO TESTIFY, back in 1993/94 and he threatened to sue anyone who would have made him testify in 2005. He was petrified of Cross examination.

i mean literally if my kid was abused by Michael Jackson, I don't even care that he is the king of pop, I would have never accepted the settlement and would have done everything in my power to see Michael behind bars. The families were only behind money but that being said the settlement led Michael eventually to more lawsuits and unlawful mistreatment and suspicions.
To be honest I really don't think Michael did those things to kids ,but parents would do anything to get.that money knowing he has money. Those parents don't care what they put there kids through

Fact about the mj settlement: he settled because his constitutional rights was violated in 1993 the judge allowed the civil case to go before the criminal case mj had to settle to protect his 5th amendment rights if he didn’t settle he would’ve had to be deposed and give up his defense which would’ve gave the prosecutors a heads up on his defense and would’ve made it easier for them to alter with his evidence and timelines and would’ve made it easier to alter the accusers stories so that it would match up with mjs timeline and evidence and he would’ve went to prison for no reason if he hadn’t settled that civil suit his attorneys advised him to settle the civil to focus on the criminal and the investigation went on 18 months after the settlement
The only evidence the chandlers claimed to have was that the accuser Jordan chandler could accurately describe mjs genitalia however his description wasn’t accurate he said mj was circumcised when he wasn’t and he was wrong about the color of mjs penis jordy assumed mjs penis was black so he said he had a light splotch on his penis similar to the color of his face however the splotch on his penis was actually dark so he had 2 inconsistencies within his description
We also know it wasn’t a match because the civil attorney for the accuser tried to bar his photos from the civil trial as evidence and Michael Jackson’s mother was called by grand jury to testify wether or not he got surgery to alter his appearance so the description didn’t match now if the description matched then why would that even be a question????
Also another important fact is that Evan chandler the father of the accuser jordy chandler demanded a $20million film deal to not go public with his allegations which is the legal definition of extortion the DA excused it as common negotiation but what other case of child abuse do you know of where a father who has a child that’s been victimized demands a film deal to not get the abuser in prison

Michael could be the sweetest and kindest person to ever walked on this earth but I swear that he was looking at that b*tch like if he wanted to murder her. I don’t blame him at all. He was way too patient. He knew she was trying to attack him. If it was me I would have chocked her on live it😡😤

One thing I got to point out is why did the little boy family accept money instead of sending Michael to jail if he was guilty it doesn’t make any sense in my opinion!
Not only that the settlement did not stop them from prosecuting Michael if they wanted but they took the money and ran.

Jackson settled the civil case that was brought against him in 1994 (Civil cases are about money) but a criminal investigation was still on going for 6 months after. So in no way did the civil settlement stop him from getting charged in 1993 and having to go to trial.The reason for the civil settlement was because he couldn’t get a judge to agree to delay the Civil trial before a potential criminal trial.
So in order to protect his 5th amendment rights from double jeopardy he had no choice but to settle the civil case. That way if he were to get charged criminally for the same allegations his defense wouldn’t be exposed to the prosecution. Ultimately Jackson was never charged because two grand juries in two different counties refused to indict him for lack of evidence.
And in 1995 the law in California changed where a civil case can no longer go ahead of a criminal one like what happened to Jackson.

There is 3 hour podcast with Shana Mangatal, with I think spanish 4 way, and she says the subjects were known about before, so it was kinda rehearsed. She asks what he expected to be asked. but i was with permission. I mean DIane Dimond released info about settlement, and then he's got gagging order and can't say it was extorshion he got sued for saying what he did in this interview by Evan Chandler, I dunno.

Elizabeth was a real and true friend.
They paid the civil suit to get it out of the way and concentrate on the criminal suit which was more important, but the family took the money and left it as that.
As for the criminal case. If there really had been any real evidence he had done something to the child like the papers lead us to believe then the parents wouldn't have had a choice. If there was proof a minor had been raped by a grown man the police aren't just going to let that go just because the parents decided not to press charges.
Also if what the parents of these "victims" said is really true and they didn't step in and do anything a d let it continue then they would have be charged with.
