I don't think this is the unreleased demo music Sideways was talking about in his video, for people coming here from that. there's so much brass in this. I could be wrong though
I think if the demo music does ever get released, it won't be so widely liked because of the reasons he talks about. most of the people listening to it aren't going to be familiar with non-western music, and think it sounds like garbage more than music. because that's most people's first reaction to music styles they've never heard before. It's like the woman says in the excerpt he includes at the end, it's something you have to expose yourself to repeatedly to find what you like in it.
