Finally my recommendation arrived :) This was the golden age of ULVER before they changed their music style where the singer doesn't use those growls anymore. The other album I can recommend is "Nattens Madrigal", their last black metal album. I would also like you to react to "Uaral", to start with their demo "Uaral" from 1997, I know you will also love it. Whether you want more of Uaral and Ulver, you can find them in the same DWJJ's Metal Lyrics channel sorted in their playlists.
It was a great recommendation! Thank you! I'm going to add Uaral to the list as well. I'm going to keep listening to the rest of Ulver and see their changes, but I'm hooked on their golden age material. Keep the recommendations coming!
It is my style but I respect this band for just doing whatever the hell they wanted, from this to acoustic (Kveldssanger) to minimal ambient (Not Saved) to dance (Russian Doll)

@@PolarPressPresents I'll keep waiting for more of Ulver
100% not my genre… but I could imagine this being mental live!
Absolutely! 🤘🤘🤘
They sound nothing like this anymore, which is fine. The assassination of Julius Caesar is a great album, but it's more Depeche mode than Mayhem.
I'll have to give that album a listen as well. I wonder what brought on such a big change.

@@Brendo2386 I still have a lot to listen to but yep, def respect them for doing what they want.
