This was very helpful, thank you. There is a guy that advertises on you tube. He wants everyone to pay him for info on making money as a signing agent. I think videos like yours will give me what I need to be successful. Thanks for your content and your generosity.
The rates are dropping due to supply and demand. More supply = lower costs There is always gonna be someone that will take less. It boils down to setting yourself above the rest. Thank you for your valuable information. As a newbie that just finished LSS and the NNA exam I am so glad I found you.
I agree! If everyone knows their worth then the agencies will know to charge more. If I won't take less than $150, and other people will take $80 then we are lowering our skills
The market can never be oversaturated there are more homes than there are notaries and just imagine more homes are being built entire communities are being built and with the economy people will need to adjust and adapt. And also don't forget we can do weddings we can do permits we can transport documents there are so many other things that we can also still do. If you think one market is saturated will make puddles and several
You are so transparent!! Thank you so much for being so open about your process, this information is beyond useful for someone like me trying to start my own notary business in the near future. Can't thank you enough! ❤️❤️❤️
Let me tell you the straw that broke the camel's back and why I went direct I did a signing around this time last year and I actually paid attention to what the client was being billed for that client paid $400 for a notary service the signing service only offered me $90. My next goal is to start my own signing service. I believe you will see the pricing on the closing disclosure.
I have question I got my direct first signing from escrow they set a fee do I need to breakdown on my invoice or do I invoice the fee they set for me ?
Hello🙂 No need to breakdown the cost. You would just invoice them and put down a reference number or loan number to reference so they will know which loan you closed for them.
Hi, Quick question.... do you or anyone reading this charge an "AFTER HOURS" FEE when it comes to completing appointments after 5pm w/ direct signings? TIA
First of all you are so beautiful 😍. Secondly, I’m so glad that I found your channel. I’m just beginning in the game and it’s a blessing to see another black young woman such as myself thriving and educating. Thank you for sharing🙏🏽 Subscribed💪🏾😎
Thank you for this all. I haven't started yet, but I been certified since last year. I'm still working on my RON training. I'm gathering as much information as possible. Lol. I need to just leap and jump! 😣
Enotarizations are about $25 in most States I just can't do it. Plus you got to pay for a database to be able to pull up those particular signings which is a little expensive up front.
I love your videos. You remind me so much of me as a LSA 😂 You’re beautiful, dress amazing and your accessories are on point. Keep making amazing content gurl.
Hey. Been following you for a bit- you are one of the best pages I have come across for LSA’a. I do a lot of research and watch a lot of videos to better myself. I’m about a year or 2 late after you made this video but I do have a quick question…when you posted your direct fees you first out “loan signing” and then next came “full purchase”…what’s the difference between the 2? Are you meaning like a full purchase without a loan? Probably a dumb question I’m sorry in advance lol.
Hi Latasha! A cash deal is when a buyer pays for a property with cash. In this case the signing is very quick because there are only a few pages for the buyer and seller to sign.
I have my E-Notary certification has well. To my understanding in the state of NC you still have to go to the signer for E-Notary everything is just done on a computer because NC does not allow RON which is not physically with the signer.
I happened to be in the first class that had the fee schedule changed and as a NC notary prior travel fees were not allow. (The only state) Now that u can invoice travel fees, how have you incorporated that in ur fee's
I am confused. I was taught (through my notary course) in Charlotte, NC that we can't charge more than $5 per signing. Is this not the case? Even the statutes state the same.
What are the start up cost I'm in the bay area I work full time learning to trade and looking for another stream of income. How many hours do you spend etc.
Hi Riri and thanks for the videos. My wife and I are not far from you in Salisbury. Have you ever been to one of these eMortgage conferences done by the state and if so, was it worth your time? This one is two days in October and in Greensboro. th-cam.com/video/SJci-Re4sO4/w-d-xo.html Are you still regularly handling Loan Signing Agent deals? I see a lot of videos on this subject from a couple of years ago, but not as much lately so I was just curious. Thanks again for your time!!
Another great video Maria. Can't wait for the Mark Wills video overview; I just signed up for it. One question that I have: Do I need to memorize all the definitions in order to pass the LSS test?
From one RiRi to another your skin is flawless and your hair is cute. This is great content and awesome to see someone in the Charlotte area. I’m new NEW. Still waiting on that first signing but GNW work comes in steadily. Even though it’s pennies learning the legal verbiage is key. If your available for mentor ship please let me know. I would love to connect.
So, would I. I also live in the Charlotte area & just took the notary course & passed 6/26/21. I would love in person guidance or to tag along in a signing for learning purposes.
Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us and giving us information to use in making life better. Preparation will meet opportunity.I appreciate your information.

Thank you 😍
Great video. I am still growing my notary business and learning how to charge. I try to stay competitive, but the area is growing with signing agents.

Love your point of view!!!
Thank you for the video. I take my notary class this Saturday and I'm so excited and ready.

You made the smartest move. What state are you located?
I have question I got my direct first signing from escrow they set a fee do I need to breakdown on my invoice or do I invoice the fee they set for me ?

Hi, Quick question.... do you or anyone reading this charge an "AFTER HOURS" FEE when it comes to completing appointments after 5pm w/ direct signings? TIA
Thank you so much for sharing & professionally representing NC
As a tech nerd, the e-notary stuff is right up my alley. I was excited to see that it was an option especially for my state (WA).
This was extremely informative! Thank you 💗

Love Love Love
Thanks so much but I'm curious what is a cash deal?
Hi Latasha! A cash deal is when a buyer pays for a property with cash. In this case the signing is very quick because there are only a few pages for the buyer and seller to sign.
Between you and Kendra, I am getting all the information I need!!!
Ok now I was under the impression that you get paid once the signing is done. This is an eye opener.
How do you know if there will be 2 or more signers?
E-notary is going under my tool belt
Much needed video Thanks for your time
Great information and I appreciate the content. I'm new to this industry, so this was most helpful. 🙏
I’ve attended one of her webinars. I do love her energy.
I have my E-Notary certification has well. To my understanding in the state of NC you still have to go to the signer for E-Notary everything is just done on a computer because NC does not allow RON which is not physically with the signer.
Last I heard the jury was still out on if NC was going to allow virtual notaries. Thanks for the information!
Hey Maria! Dope video...
Great info! Thanks so much for your candor.
I happened to be in the first class that had the fee schedule changed and as a NC notary prior travel fees were not allow. (The only state) Now that u can invoice travel fees, how have you incorporated that in ur fee's
Are the fees different for RON?
Net 30 to net 180. A 6-month safety net is absolutely mandatory.
Your conclusion was beautifully said 👏👌 You be the middle man!
New to this az located just nervous I guess
The absolute lowest pay I'll take from a signing service is $90.
Thank you for the information. Can you tell us more about your real estate experience and how it compares to your notary business?
New to the channel but definitely looking forward to becoming a loan signing agent in the Mecklenburg area
My state has e-notary However I think you are speaking of RON (Remote Online Notary). Arkansas doesn't allow RON.
Nc doesn't allow Ron either
Oop sorry hun I understand what u mean now as I kept going in the video
I am confused. I was taught (through my notary course) in Charlotte, NC that we can't charge more than $5 per signing. Is this not the case? Even the statutes state the same.
I was wondering this as well. Every time I ask someone, they never answer. Frustrating.
That's for doing general notary work, we are only able to charge $5. As a Loan Signing Agent the fees vary.
What are the start up cost I'm in the bay area I work full time learning to trade and looking for another stream of income. How many hours do you spend etc.
Check out the channel she mentioned, Signing Agent Basics. Do tons of research. Take lots of notes!
Blessings!
Like the video.... Love the information ....of course you looking very professional.... Is the E-Notary available in NC ?
What’s your percentage of counter offering do you get the jobs
You're so pretty! Great content! Keep it up!

Awesome video! Do you offer one on one mentorship?
Another great video Maria. Can't wait for the Mark Wills video overview; I just signed up for it. One question that I have: Do I need to memorize all the definitions in order to pass the LSS test?
@Tony Jules I didn’t memorize before taking the test but I would recommend doing so before you start loan signing.
Thank you for all your helpful info!
You are very welcome MsKent😊
These attorneys here in NC are giving low fees also..some of them don't even want to pay $90...
I noticed some signing services do not disclose multiple signers when bidding out the work
