  • I decided to take a break from Cybertron and head to Camp Crystal Lake and Review Neca's Ultimate Jason Vorhees figure from the film "Friday the 13th Part VI; Jason Lives", my favorite of the F13 films.

Awesome review! Love the ending. Hope you able to clean your review table from the blood stains 😛

At least Jason was thoughtful enough not to get blood on his own figure.

That was fun. I couldn’t stop laughing at the end. Great work on this one. Neca has a lot of cool figures. I have done a few reviews of some of them. They are a lot of fun

Jason and Freddy will always remind me of my mother, I've watched them since I was a baby and nothing scares me truly on horror movies because of my mom and I will always miss her.

This was a great review, and a nice bit of a change in format. Hope you got some more figures like that planned for the month of October.

😨 so I guess is now the Jason Prime Reviews 😨
Neca has great detail but over time they become brittle 🤔 I’m even afraid to touch my older Neca figures for fear of breaking something off 😩
Great review Patriot...I mean Jason 😳

Okay I'm going to come right out and say it I love that NECA Friday the 13th hockey mask. Also part 6 is my favorite as well. In fact I had a buddy of mine replicate the part 6 hockey mask. Also before I forget great review I thoroughly enjoyed it from one Friday 13th fan to another😁😁😁 love the ending instant classic😈

If you're referring to the mask I'm wearing...that's a $4.00 one I got off of amazon that I've customized.
I do have a Neca Part IV mask still in the package.
Thanks for watching, the ending was a hoot to shoot.

Great review, Jason! Btw, you and I were both born the same month, year, and three days apart! I was born on July 17th!

OMG...I laughed my ass off when you pulled out the machete to open the Jason figure box.
The details are amazing on this figure. Now the blood stain on the back of his ass looks like he shit himself. Lol Shame about the machete sheath. I love this figure. Do you plan on getting the Crystal Lake accessory pack for the chained rock and sign?
HAHAHAHAHA...I saw the blood splatter and my jaw dropped. Awesome ending to a figure review I've ever seen brother. Loved it. And Dylan did a great job too. 👍
You need to do more horror figure videos.

The "Shiiing" sound effect when I brought out the machete was me just sliding it up on the edge of my tempered glass desk. Turned out great.
Thanks for watching, I had a blast doing it.

Awesome review! I really only watch for Transformers though but this was a really great and fun review to watch. I love the outro! I thought for a moment your son really walked in on you while during your review. I do hope you have just as much fun with any other non-Transformer videos you may do in the future. Thanks for the laugh and i wanted to know why didnt you post this tomorrow when it would actually be Friday? I mean i guess i already know with being a busy family man. Anyways great review once again and i hope you have tons of fun at TFcon and while you there don't forget to try and replace your little bot from your G1 Scorpion city bot.

NECA has my money. Have the same fig plus part 2, the Crystal Lake accessories pack, and the Gamestop exclusive version of the NES Jason.
    Highly recommend the accessory set.
    Great review and Vid.

Hahaha! Awesome review, brother! I thought the last bit there was pretty cool, especially once that excellent heavy metal guitar riff kicked in at the end... Wicked cool!
I knew something was up when the creaky door sound hit, and it wasn't Dylan, brother!! LOL 😅
Okay, so I'm not a big fan of horror movies in general... I find them hokey and not even remotely scary... They're just dark comedies that reflect the often STUPID decision making skills people have when things get weird, lol, and then they die... It's kind of like, famous last words, when a guy wants to take a selfie with the "dead" great white they just hauled on the deck of the boat, says, "Hey ya'll, watch THIS...!", sticks his FREAKING head in its MOUTH for the pic, and either a death spasm causes the shark's mouth to snap shut on his head, killing the guy, or the shark REALLY wasn't actually dead to start with and just playing possum until natural reflex kicked in... Either way, same results of a stupid decision, lol.
Anyway, that being said, I know lots of people who DO enjoy them, my younger brother being super high up on that list, so much so that he's managed to collect DVD copies and variants of nearly every horror movie as far back as he can get... Nothing too cheesy OR too gory for him, lol. So, it's all good. I like stuff probably most other people don't, so it's just a matter of liking what you like. For the record though, I have seen more than one Friday the 13th movie, but I never saw part 6. Maybe I'll check it out one of these days.
I know you were psyched about doing this review, and you really did a great job, man! NECA really does an excellent job with their sculpting and attention to detail on everything they do. I wasn't sure how good this figure was going to be, but they did a fantastic job, as usual! Which made for good source material when putting all the work you did into this video! I could tell you were having a blast, and it shows, particularly because you enjoy the movie and that particular figure.
I enjoy ALL of your other content, even stuff I might not normally be into, because you present it in such a way that it's more appealing and fun... And I'm referring to the stuff that is more like this, and Megalon (which I DID watch because of your recommendation, fyi...)
As for the issues you're having with the figure...
    1) The mask - if you'd like the mask to be more rounded, just hit it with a hair dryer on high for about 30 seconds, flex it on the sides until it's where you want it. Hold it in place and dip it in ice water until it cools. Repeat until it's where you prefer it. Problem solved.
    2) The machete sheathe - Take a toothpick, preferably a plastic one, or something similarly narrow & thin, and gently slide it down into the sheathe on the front side as far as you can. IF it goes all the way down, or pretty far down, and gently but firmly, start wiggling and moving it back and forth to get the sheathe sides to release and open correctly. You might even need to heat it just a little bit to help it turn loose in there as you edge it apart.
    3) The hand - As above, with the mask, hit it with a hair dryer, on high for 30 seconds. (You'll need to hold these smaller parts with tweezers or something similar, so they don't blow away and get lost...) Then, while it's warm, gently force the handle into his hand, widening with a clockwise/counterclockwise motion until it goes through smoothly, but not too loosely. Then leave it in place for awhile, to settle and allow for cooling into its newly expanded position.
That should resolve the bigger issues and make the figure even MORE enjoyable in your display space.
Again, excellent review, and really liked that ending "Jason". 😉😅
    Hooo-ah!!

Thank you so much, it was amazing the effort that went into only a minute of screen time.
Originally there was going to be a gorier ending but Dylan wanted to be part of it and there you go.
The first cut had "The Man Behind the Mask" by ALice Cooper playing but I got copyrighted...but the PPR theme worked.
Thanks again for watching and the tips for fixing up the figure.
      Hooah!!!!!!
