Im 3/4 Fijian Indian and 1/4 English. Im from the UK and a lot of indians here dont really understand our language, cause of the English and Fijian language mixed within it. Its kinda intresting and weird but i like it.
UTC is Coordinated Universal Time, which is the baseline global time measured at the 0 degree longitude meridian (similar to the older understanding of Greenwich Meantime) by an atomic clock. So UTC+12 means in practical terms it is 12 hours ahead of the time in London (not accounting for daylight time). East coast USA is UTC-5, or 5 hours behind, when not following summer time.
Pronunciations were correct, except for "Q", which doesn't sound the same as 'G's' "Ng" sound...... the Fijian "Q" sounds like the English 'G', as in 'Garage, Garbage, Grumble', etc..... .....but for "Beqa", it's actually "mBeng-gah', like 'Vengaboys"
I'm a 100% Fijian and my garden island is taveuni I speak in English as well.😊☺
