The thing with PH teams is they do minimum activity maximum output, as in the focus on macro and punish when someone makes a mistake. Where as Onic play maximum activity maximum output. They play aggresive and then convert that to kills and then to objectives which is countering the PH playstyle really badly.
PH teams that can match ONIC's aggressive playstyle are RSG PH and ECHO(w/ Yawi). though we can only dream since ECHO is different now and RSG PH failed to get to M5.

BLCK target banned Kairi's three main heroes, Nolan, Joy, Fanny. And ONIC had a hard time against BLCK. APBREN already knew it but their coaches wanted to test how ONIC will fare if these three heroes were open. Big risk but maybe they really want to get more data from ONIC. Game 1 was almost winnable for BREN. So I understand when they still left Kairi's heroes open for ONIC. Unfortunately, Game 2 was too one sided. So they should have adjusted a bit on Game 3, to which they still didn't. Coach Yeb saw this and just decided to troll pick on Game 3. So APBREN now have legit game data from ONIC to study from only 2 games. Don't know if it's enough, but available data is still valuable data. So I'm sure they'll have big adjustments on draft tomorrow against ONIC.
I can only think this is what went through APBREN's coaches minds when they faced ONIC earlier.
