They don't have proper rival at MPL ID, unlike AP Bren who has 3 solid competitors.
Rest of ID teams are just slacking their ass or just have unserious management... too lacks of scouting and coaching...

It's such a massive advantage for any PH rep. when you consider the fact that they regularly fight at much higher levels compared to the other regions.
Especially evident in Bren fighting like ECHO and lord dancing like Blacklist, the players are also forced to rapidly improve to stay ahead
Flap for example, suddenly just returning to monster status after Sanford,Nathzz and Edward took his spot
that's why bren is the perfect team. they constantly gets challenged by Echo's aggressiveness and Blacklist's waiting game.
they learned to adopt at both fast paced and patient play style.
This is what Indonesia doesn't have compared to Philippines.
Philippines teams has variety of play style, all in Indo uses the same playstyle

AP Bren is used in playing against tough competitors because of MPL-PH. the answer is simply in MPL-ID they need to get tough competitors too for Onic to be able to win against AP Bren. the problem now is AP Bren is too solid and the chemistry keeps improving too so idk if Onic can win against AP Bren the next time they meet
Damn being a coach isn't easy . After the loss , the words coming out of their mouths is huge. I can't imagine counseling twice. In m5 n in gof. Like what more they can say? Everthing seems perfect in Onic. Its jst APBren had the better fights.

Being a coach is not about leading in terms of their strategy. The 5 members know best of their own abilities and chemistry between them. A coach must find ways to get into each of the member’s mind and thinking process. This is complicated & hard because of the psychology behind it. Coach must know the mental weakness & challenges each player is experiencing. The end of the video shows it all, he had to release his stress but his voice says he is willing to give all to beat their rivals. Not win. Forget about the scores, focus and learn from the past mistakes and be mindful to come up with new strategies.
Watching this whole video shows me a lot on what seems to be missed out on. Each player stayed quiet and stuck in their own minds, one even had an earphone on when coach was speaking. These small details show that coach’s words weren’t their priority, rather than processing the whys and hows for their losses. When a player feels insecure, one must remind them why they are in the finals. It’s a chance. Losers will forever learn more than winners. Winners get trophy, losers get lessons to improve. I hope some of you understand my points & message.

For me, the difference between Bren and Onic ID is that Bren has more competitors back in MPL PH because there are other strong teams as well, like BLACKLIST, ECHO, and RSG PH. MINANA and ONIC PH, so that's why BREN continues to step up their game every time. while ONIC ID solely dominated MPL ID for the past 3-4 season's now, so there's less competition for them. That's why when they meet BREN, that's what happened, but don't get me wrong, Onic are really strong, but when they face a team just as strong as they are or even stronger, they struggle.

it wasn't really the biggest competition this year but the prize pool was really good, even if they are second and it make them more training for next tourneys. Coach Ducky has said that they used to scrim non-stop against ONIC ID and took(stole lol) all their strategy and adapted them to his players. You can go see the podcast with Wolf, Coach Yeb and Coach Ducky.
Now it's to ONIC to find how to adapt to APBREN, it's cool that there's competition and i think APBren is the best team for MLBB so far. Echo was clearly good too but you can see that they know how to go all out in every occasion or just wait for the only one play that makes them win the game easy. And they have the best hero-pool so far and a really good coach
Maybe pay them less so they work more or maybe just change Butss because he was really bad at M5 and GOTF

I haven't commented seriously here for a long time, you could say that even though Vren left behind, they are getting better, especially since AP Bren recruiting Trebor from Echo, making this team not know what is called a "blunder" and is always hungry for domination, on the other hand, it seems that Onic is "stuck" and can't climbing to a higher level, there is no good investment for Onic to make them stronger, even being on par with AP Bren is already difficult, so accept the reality for Onic fans, the prime of Onic ID is already at the end of the road.
Probably AP Bren chance being msc campion already 90% 😂 also they got treble winner M series for M6 i think at 60% if echo/blacklist or other mpl filipinos team (except tnc) can give a lot surprise on mpl s14 later
What sucks is the fact that Geek's last season jungle (Nnael) who plays super well and probably par on with Kairi was just a loan from Onic. Nnael most likely will be benched despite being a high quality player and Geek wont be Onic's toughest MPL ID contender anymore.

Onic needs competition. Other teams in Indo are not catching up to their level yet. They need to scrim more with PH teams.
Scrims can't do big impact on pro scene it's just a test trat. They need a good plan to beat ap bren in early objectives set up. That's why they focus to wreck butss to get the early objectives and snowball
Onic hasn’t had actual competition in Indo for years now. That’s one problem. The Indo teams decided to start having Ph imports both players and coaches, but idk if that’s going to be enough. Watching 1st week of MPL PH last week in all honesty felt like watching Playoffs. The PH teams have started bringing in new blood and emerging star players are taking small steps and shapes already. In MPL Indo, everyone seems too hyper focused on which team has the better import and which team decided better with their roster without one at all. Their focus is weird.

This shows that the MPL PH scene is still more competitive despite the “star players” being imported by other nations (no shade, i respect the hustle) because the new bloods and current champions and top teams constantly work hard because everyone wants to win, not just make money. In Indo, there’s about 1-3 competitive teams, but none currently are looking stable or consistent.

They did good it's just that PH MACRO leveled one once more after M5. I can't explain it in full details but the overall map awareness of PH in this tournament is outstanding. If they are serious about winning, they should consider having 1 to 2 months bootcamp in the Philippines where regular RANKED players can literally beat other regions.

What ID needs right now is a serious competition in MPL ID. For the past 3 seasons, Onic is the champion and if its not Onic then its RRQ. And its seems that Onic will be champs again this season 13. While in MPL PH, the past three seasons have 3 different 3 champion teams, BLCK, ECHO AND AP BREN. Other MPL ID teams needsnto step up

Yes this are good advice, but remember that this is a championship match, you can think of yourself to be a god and all, but just like the story of Icarus, you might as well come crashing down.
I'm not saying that they are all talk, I'm saying that they should always respect what the enemy has, yes you have god lvl mechanics but what if your enemy also has god lvl mechanics? you cant overpower them with mechanic then respect it and sooner or later they will be bound to mess up. Same goes with team play, dont always assume you have better team synergies especially on a world stage, adaptation is a game of respect, if you don't respect something then there is no need to adapt to that something.

They lost to Echo in M4, Blacklist in M3, and even got thrown out by a random team in MSC 2022, in which they placed last out of everyone btw. Aside from the recent MSC where they finally won, they always choke in in the world stage where it matters the most. What makes you think other PH teams cannot beat them?

That huddle after game 2 shows why Indo teams keep on losing to ph teams. Adi saying "If anyone wants to go all just go, we show them our mechanics to win ahead". When will they realize that you can't beat PH simply by just mechanics? Goodluck Indo, looks like your playstyle wont allow you to win a world championship anytime soon specially now the rest of the world is catching up.
PH is better at them at mechanic and macro. ID become complacent and over proud saying they have better mechanic. I guess PH teams are just doing reverse psychology to them or being humbled. PH players are mechanically gifted with higher IQ in games. That’s what makes them better.

i already experience playing in both region but i would say there are some good indo players but ph players are just much more intelligent than indo players when it comes to the game and the comeback probability is much higher in ph server
Bro the secret is to watch mpl ph, you'll learn about the meta what heroes should you ban, pick, or take advantage of. You'll discover a techniques, strategy, macro, and etc. And don't forget to think that you're always ahead of your enemies, always keep in mind that you're better than your opponents.
