I bought a 000-15m today. I tried a lot of guitars today including a Martin d16e, 000-16streetmaster, Martin 18style dreadnaught with a $3k price tag, and a Taylor cutaway. The 000-16streetmaster truly sang and was loud, but the 000-15m warmth and note clarity was better in my opinion. It’s so nice.
Most people look for a guitar that has a lot of volume, a lot of bass, a lot of brightness and a lot of everything, but this guitar has a naturally equalized sound, in my opinion it is the perfect sound.
Always loved Martin, my mom taught me and my two brothers how to play on her 60s Martin. I went a different direction due to an unexpected opportunity but I still yearn for a Martin. Thanks for the vid, Megan and (as always) can't get enough of your playing. Cheers!
Due to my later years I’ve drizzled down from 21 guitars to 4 in my acoustics both Martin and yes one of those is the Martin 000 15m. No secret why. Yay?
Hello, I just brought a Martin 0015m. I wanted to purchase a D18 or 00018, deluxe, that is what I really to buy, but came out of the shop with a 00015m. I went for the pure tone and play ability of the guitar. Too my ear it was the best sounding guitar in the shop, and I did try a lot of guitars.
I played a Taylor AD24ce and a 000 15m a few weeks ago. I could not decide which I liked better so I bought both. The Taylor plays a lot better but sound wise I like both. Hopefully a proper setup will help the Martin playability.
There is one problem with this guitar, it is addictive, since i have one, i play on it all the time.. there is the world before i got it, and the world ever since.
some are made in mexico now from 2022 because of the workload and ordere. im pleased i bought my 15 m back in 2019. beutiful sounding guitars no matter where they are made, still martin standards.
I own the 00015 sm there’s no big differences except 12 frets the sound is different and the neck too for delta blues the sm is the best guitar in the world ❤ !
The 000 15SM was my choice also. I love the tone and playability of the 12 fret guitar. Best value Martin I have found. I also love my two Martin Custom Shop guitars, but they cost 5 X more. They are a 0000 Koa back and sides, bear claw spruce top, and a 000 28 Wild Grain EIR ADI top. The 000 15 SM is my everyday player.
I went to guitar center to try out a OOO 15 m and didn't like it. The action of the nut and saddle was insanely high and the guitar was light weight. I'm aware of new guitars and factory setups. But, I would think that martin could have done much better. I won't be buying one
It’s a small body.. of course it’s light (the Taylor equivalent is even lighter.) If the action feels high you probably just need to build your calluses and play more acoustic because it’s insanely comfortable IMO.
@@seancarterx I am intermediate playing for decades. I have calluses that aren't to bad beings I setup my guitars that are like an electric especially with 11ga. Daddario xs. Mainly because I'm old steelworker arthritis hand. I have an OM cedar top and Honduras rosewood that I am about to play some blues. Can't put it do love it. Just love finger picking blue. The Honduras rosewood is the nicest I have held. Light color with knots all over it. I also always put a daddario o port in all my acoustic guitars. You know what I learned today that I never realized. A Taylor GA body is the exact same as a martin om. My OMs aren't cutout

Strong candidate if you can only have one acoustic guitar.
the acoustic guitar of my dreams 😍

I bought one today too. I played several other guitars and this one I also found to sound the best. Happy playing.
One of the best value guitars Martin makes. I've owned a few.
I have the d15-m, absolutely love it and this guitar is next on my list. Amazing line of guitars.
Had one for years just perfect
Just got the 000-m streetmaster a couple months ago. It is truly a dream to play
I bought one and cant wait!
Beautiful sounding guitar! Fantastic playing. Where can we find more Meg? (IG? TH-cam?) She’s awesome with the acoustics!
Thanks Kev! Glad you enjoyed the video 😃 We'll pop Megs channel in the description!
I’m looking to buy my first Martin, this 000-15m is probably the best choice for the first Martin😊😊😊

wow... beautiful sound.... thanks.
A little boomy in the mix, but I already am a fan of this guitar. Great review, 👍
One of my all time favorites. I like the slightly smaller 00-15M, but that whole line is fantastic.
I have a Martin OOO15m Streetmaster, I can’t fault it, I Play it every day.
Lovely
I ended up with the SM version, only because it has the wider 1-3/4" nut.

Meg, please play a Martin D-28 in your
inimitable style.
Big Big Love ❤️ I mean it.
Magnifique guitare, j’en ai une et elle est parfaite 🎸❤
cantik sekali✍️🌹🌹🌹
I have one……..in my opinion it is the perfect acoustic guitar.
The guitar sounds beautiful, not so much the screeching between position changes on the fret board.
Give me the Taylor ad21e! Thanks
Sorry clarification, 2 acoustic, 2 electric.
Maybe with different strings. The string sqawking is like nails on a chalkboard.

mine had very high action too. just had to adjust the bridge (saddle) height. now it plays almost like my electrics, better than my Taylor acoustic.
@@seancarterx Yesssir exactly :)
Mahogany sounds dry, just like my humour.
