I'm still rockin' my Rossa Monte Carlo center shaft. Can't get it out of the bag. I roll it so smooth. The insert is sick too. I love the spiders though.
Hi Trottie well done on the video and detailing the difference in the new spider tour range. I am a spider x hydroblast user and am very happy with it, not likely to be replaced. The big issue many of the original spider users had was the unsightly wear that occurred on the paintwork that despite its amazing feel many just ended up getting rid of them. Has this been addressed with the new range? Is there longevity in the looks as well as performance like i know will be realised with the hydroblast range.
Hey Trottie, on the new T7 (single bend), what is the stock TSS weight for the 35”? And are the weights the same size as the weights in the stealth driver? Thank you
that old pure roll face was so amazing, didnt like the new one either still had a soft roll to it but with the old face you can really feel how soft it really is

I just found a “NEW” Odyssey #2 with the original White Hot insert for $90, Comes in today. They say it a sound thing but I can definitely tell the difference when using a actual soft insert especially on those touchy feel puts.
Trottie, is this the same TPU insert that was in the Spider X? Also, the MySpider seems to have a different insert option (aluminum or Surlyn). How are those compared to the TPU in the new line?
Not these supposedly, read about their new coating. that's one of the things they addressed. I know for sure the finish on Rory's style spider doesn't chip. None of my tour black ever chipped, but I know a lot of people's did. I'm interested how the new coating holds up. I forget if they said it was a PVD charcoal finish or what else they did, but you can see for yourself if you care to. I believe it was PGA Superstore websitse where I read about the new features
It's a Metal PVD finish so it should last longer. Hence why the custom colored Spider only has a couple color options instead of the rainbow that the old one had.
I actually don’t like the look of these and I use TaylorMade gear,I much prefer my spider GT MAX,you have all these putters(and 25 different combinations all up)in the 1 putter and the colour scheme on the gt max matches the stealth line better imo
Absolutely ridiculous! I love Taylormade but, they have gotten down right stupid with their products. Like I phone's, every ten minutes they come out with new product aimed at the top 2% of golfers. This putter looks exactly like my 10 year old Spider! Supposed to make me a better putter because a professional says so? Like drivers, you need to upgrade because a professional got and extra 8 yards distant Dustin Johnson uses it! Ridiculous. Spend the extra money on golf lessons!

I still have the first rossi ever. I love this putter and will never pull it. Its just that good.

Re releasing an old putter????
Back to the straight urethane Pure Roll face. Much better than the urethane / aluminum face. Going to order the V
This insert was known as 80/20 on tour. I believe it's a combo of surlyn & aluminum

@@-What-are-your-thoughts going to get a spider tour, used to have it but it chips fairly easily but nothing beats that insert
