I can’t get over the traffic! It must be that festival in Stanley. It was nothing like that in September 2019 when we visited. So many beautiful lakes in the area too. Idaho quickly became one of my favorite states we’ve visited! Enjoyed your video!
It was the 8th annual festival. It was much calmer after that. Lots of people from Idaho low lands up there escaping the heat. Thanks for watching. BTW, we're back in GA. I'm just way behind on videos. I still have a couple more to do on Idaho. We loved it too!
It is like that all summer now. Trust me. Too many immigrants. I can remember the days when you could go to Redfish Lake any summer weekend and never have a reservation and you could find a camping spot on the lake.
Within view of the town of Stanley. Head North out of town and turn left toward the museum, Plus, there are many more, See some of the other videos that highlight other hot springs. You are going to have a fabulous time!~ Trisha
Hwy 75 south of Stanley. If you reach the right turn for RedFish Lake, you've gone too far so turn around and it will be your first dirt road on the right. It's actually showing up on Google maps now as FR 654D. Good luck. Enjoy! ~Trisha
Late July. I am not a cold weather person. So the downside is that the western wildfires may start up. One started in the mountains behind Stanley on our last day there. Thanks so much for watching. We love this area and will definitely return. ~ Trisha

@@WhichWayDidIGo we camped in both directions from Stanley. The hot springs were in Stanley and NE on 75. We love it there. Enjoy! Trisha

Around the 11 minute mark you mention some landmarks to find the site. Which road is that on?
