I got out of Joes sold the entire 10 grand collection to the guys in Pittsburgh. They asked why I didn't sell to you guys being I am in Baltimore but They had a bunch of wwf hasbros on card I wanted. I had like 30 joes on card and 100s loose complete and tons of Vehicles.
If you want to do something unique and memorable that nobody has done in the toy community, buy that collection and run a lottery where everyone buys in at $10 + shipping and everyone gets a mystery vintage Joe figure. That means letting $300 figs go for $10. You'll probably make your money back and sell to more collectors than even Toy Federation has. And we'll all be part of the same collection. Just make sure each "buy in" has a different address to keep it fair. One per household.
Start out small. Get figures or vehicles that you like. Buy a piece here and there before you know it you have a collection. Research sold listings on what you want try not to over pay
