But even so, just be a decent person and give the girl back her dog. Have her pay you for whatever you put into the dog, then go and get your own. Shouldn’t be this deep.

I had to temporarily rehome my dog for a few weeks, which was suppose to be a few months, while renovating and I regretted it every single day. I missed my baby everyday and they knew I was coming back for him. They fell in love with him and wanted to keep him. With how they were acting I went and got him and just kept him in the room the remaining time of renovating. I told them to keep the money I gave up front. Them folks wouldn’t answer my calls or text messages. I filed a police report and sent the picture of it to them and told them if this is the route you wish to take, I would spend every dime to get my baby back. Once the lady seen that, she called me back and I told her we was on our way to get my baby that day! So it is true that you can regret a temporary situation. I would never do that ever again!! I wouldn’t recommend anybody to temporarily rehome. It’s better to just go to a vet or groomer to have them board your fur baby instead even though it would cost way more.
