This is somewhat depressing BUT ever since last year I've been pretty lonely and I haven't really had any friends due to everyone just dropping me. I was really down in the dumps for a while but then I found this channel! I listen to stories when I drive, while I clean, when I'm on walks, and even when I fall asleep. It's really nice having someone talking to me whenever I need it. I love this channel a lot, Mortis. Thank you for bein' here for me!!

Being a night shift worker myself, I love this type of stories. 💗💗 It isn't the easiest shift to work but I couldn't imagine working any other shift. Especially since it has been 12 years working on the nightshift. 🦉🌙

I love listening to your stories as I fall asleep!
I find these night shift episodes tend to produce some unusual stories. I worked nights at a hospital that was brand new when I started. I never encountered anything weird. I think it being new and not being a trauma center were major contributing factors since we didn't see violent deaths per se.
About to fly, refused to hear the last one tbh. But I sure downloaded this one for the trip.

My son worked security on the graveyard shift at a hospital.. Part of the hospital was closed but he still had to check it, he told me that he saw a lot of weird stuff, like Shadows, doors slamming, etc. He tried to video all of this but every time his phone battery would die or the video would be corrupted.

I work night shift at an assisted living facility, (people have died here on the grounds) and every night something new happens. There’s children laughing in the stairwell, rubber balls rolling across the floor, lights flickering and the main doors open by themselves when locked, that’s only what I’ve seen
@@sinwetcher5116 WOW!!!! You are very brave ,AND I want to say thank you for the job you do. It takes a very special type of soul to do this type of work. I worked at a assisted living facility for almost a year they helped only altizer patience. When they were not to bad they had their own little apartment, the spouse could live with them, but when they eventually reached the worse stages they were moved to a more secure area where they could be taken care of. It always broke my heart to see these little old people who had been together for 50,60,or 70 years separated, they never seemed to stay with us long after this.
@@alabamasisters6184 that's how ours is set up, married couples are together, some are independent some have nursing care. We lose our residents if they're separated from their spouses too 😔

My husband works 3rd shift, an a few weeks ago I had a visitor one night at midnight knocking at my door,, pretty sure i was dealing with a black eyed child. 💙💙💙💙

I work graveyard at a nursing home 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. We have at least one ghost. Several residents have described a woman with long black hair, who stands in a corner and glowers at them. One resident says she is a witch and won't enter his room when he sees her. Sometimes beds are raised after the staff has left the bed in low position. Last night several of us heard a yell from a section of the hall where no one is now. This part was used for Covid patients, and some of them died there.

Really Good Story's Mortis, I haven't listened to the Airplane Story's yet but plan on it, think they will be good. Maybe alot didn't as they might have to fly. I have never flown in a plane.
19:44, is that one about the Ellicott City Courthouse? I've heard more than many things paranormal about that place when I had a trial and release for a misdemeanor once. Especially, involving one of the first clerks who's said to still have the smell of eggs and bacon they cooked when it was first built

The toy elephant..." Wind up" is purely mechanical, driven by a spring, and the melody could change as the spring winds down. Same for battery powered electromechanical..the motor slows down as the batteries run down. Purely electronic ones can make distorted sounds with weak batteries...
Think about a haunted house from the ghost's point of view... you're stuck haunting the same place. That would get old fast.

Oh Wow😳Story of person toward the end of these Story's working in the Hotel that had something haunting him or her, Awesome as this town I know very well and live in a town half hour away from Atchison, Kansas grew up in small town from Atchison, Kansas. Trying to think of what Hotel this would be, wonder if it's the one down by the Missouri River but I think that's just a Restaurant but looks to be maybe a Hotel. Atchison, Kansas has alot of really Beautiful old Home's, Mansion's and have heard that they are Haunted. In October they have a Trolley that take's Ppl on Tour's of said Haunted Homes and Mansions, always planned on taking one of these Tours but didn't get around to it. Up from the River is the Home where Amelia Earhart, Famous first Woman Aviator grew up in and of couse like said in the story the yearly Summer Festival where they have all kind's of food vendors and a Firework display that is Incredible, my Husband who is now deceased we would go to these every year, they still have them but its usually in the hottest part of Summer and so crowded that got to be to much for Husband to make down to. Cool to hear this Story so close to home.

Story of Group Home for under 5 year old children🤔doesn't make sense. I Googled this and found yes you can place your child that has disability's in a Group Home🙄not right, how could you do that to your child😪
Yes and back yrs ago even when your child had no physical or mental issues, you could give your child to these places. Very close to home for my family's background and very sad. Thankfully someone looked out for the closest connection to me cause he turned out ok where many of his peers turned to drinking, drugs, suicides, etc. So sad and as a mom of 4, I could never!
