I would say that even after subtracting the RAM usage of OBS there was probably something else running that used more RAM, in my testing it's usually under 500MB immediately after boot. Hey, German dude here. IIRC I bought my first (boxed!) copy of SuSE Linux somewhere around 1995. I always had at least one Linux computer or partition and used it in parallel to Windows until XP went EOL. Only Linux since then and I'm not looking back.

You should consider using either rolling distro or semi-point distro.
Then decide your needs and leave hopping
SuSE 7.1 was my first linux distro. (released in 2001 if i am not wrong)
so i always feel nostalgic when it comes to openSuSE.

What is the difference between GeckoLinux and RegataLinux?
Which distributions can you nominate for university work?
Regata is KDE and it's more made for gaming and regular use.
Can you do a video on openbox. It's a floating window manager with which we can customize and make our own desktop environment with.
Can you compare why one would go with GeckoLinux KDE and not Kubuntu?
Both Gecko and Opensuse are pretty good.

I tried opensuse for gaming and their some games that won't run on opensuse that have DirectX 11 on steam. Won't even download on steam.
Lol i thought you meant GeckOS for a 6502, check it out sometime. It has a 4kb kernel and runs off of 35k of ram. :)
