I clean out my friend list every chance I get and start with users
who haven't logged in for at least 24 hours.
I had juggled with the idea of which video to make first of the three, being:
Early Game Breakdown

But I realized that I'd be out of town for a week and with the amount of time I had, it was either the Early Game Breakdown or no video until I returned.
So here's your generic breakdown of how your game flow for early game should look like.
And here's a quick note on how to read the notations for recipes:
The notation for recipes is read as such:
The first four digits are the hundreds place of the number of resources you input
from left to right it's:
manpower, ammo, rations, parts
and the last two digits is the ten's place
So 4402 30 is read as 430 430 030 230
Also, do apologize for the relatively lacking quality; had some issues with my hardware that I couldn't quite get around and this was the best quality I could record to.
If there was anything unclear due to whatever reason, let me know in the comments; I'll try clearing it up.
So as I've mentioned, I will be out of town for the next week, give or take a day, so just a heads up.

I didnt startover to see for myself but damn i had a glimpse of that hell. Im just lucky i drawed some replica (I use Ar-15, M4a1, Hk416 and the Ump twins) to tone down that core hell. Don't be like me tho

My rations drastically dropped below 500. Ouch
Stopped myself before going below 5k in my resources. Managed to get SR3MP and G36c out of it though. And an extra 416 and UMP45. I'm happy with the result
64 tickets and only 1 HK416, 2 springfield, 1 OTs-12, 2 AS-Val and 1 9A-91. lolz. Rate up is a lie.
My first pulls were Grizzly, 9A-91, GR MK23, Fr Famas, AS Val, type-95, and Type56-1. I used resources as 30, 400, 400, 30 and was set until just before the mission to rescue M4A1. It was honestly really fun, now i'm on the hunt to get RFB and I need to stockpile a bit more in the contracts and fast productions for that lol. Your videos are helping me a lot so please keep it up!

1 month later I have over 40 4 star and 5 star dolls combined, with 12 of them 5x link and 8 of them 4x link, with over 200 cores left. But that's a lot of grinding thanks to the lock down...
I'm surprisingly not in core hell despite having ar-15, m4a1, sopmod, and both umps for a team, though I don't know how long I'll last
I do get a lot of cores from grinding levels for the 4* drop, and dismantling 4* and 3* dupes.

Would love a guide on Gems and what you'd recommend spending them on. So far I prioritised getting my 10 Echelons filled out first, and now buying extra T-Doll slots whenever needed, plus the occasional whaling for skins. Would love to know what's the most "efficient" method to use the premium currency.
Also, SOPMOD is great. Few things are more satisfying than bunching enemies together, launching one nuke grenade to pepper the screen with red numbers, and leave with her as MVP with 50% of all damage in the team.

And I don't even grind anymore. I played for like more than a year by now and I have like 1,500 cores and most of my 5 star 3 star and 4 stars doll mostly maxed out. Getting XP is a pain. Honestly I will dismantle the dolls that I can use to fused. Reason is I want more space and plus I have a shyt tone of cores. I didn't buy cores from money. The only time I used money is to costumes. You don't need to farm by doing maps. You will get a lot of cores by dismantling dolls. Save up resources from logistics and wait for a rate up or new released t dolls and spend 300k or 100k resources on normal construction. You get a tone of 3-4 stars that u already have. You can find a tone and dismantle a tone to get cores

I am trying girls frontline again after a year hiatus. I am actually enjoying playing with a whole squad of 2 stars as my first squad. They repair relatively fast. Unless they are beat all to hell. And i get duplicates very easy. Usually i have 2-3 extra of every doll, so upgrading and dummy linking to at least 3 is a breeze. They are currently only in their 60's, but i am enjoying them for what they are. Working on a 2nd higher grade echelon now.
Bro just use 5 MP-40s for your squad and you´re good to go:
-Low resource cost
-Easy to aquire
-Requires little to no cores
-Has good growth so you can get her max lvl easily
-She can deal lots of damage
-Good adjutant
-Good wife
Currently going with M14 (RF) + M4A1 (AR) + ST AR-15 (AR) + M16A1 (AR) + Type 64 (SMG) after watching this guide. Definitely much better in performance, compared to my old squad (1HG + 2SMG + 2MG) and, I'm actually making a good amount of resources saved VS used when grinding. I watched the level progression guide as well so, got the new squad to 50+ in less than 200 runs. Many thanks for the guides.
I've just completed my first team of level 90. M4A1 ; AR-15 ; SOPPY ; Scorpion ; UMP45. I had just enough core for every one because I was extremely lucky with my UMP45 pulls. Thanks for your serie of tutorial, it helped a lot.
Glad I am watching these guides before actually starting. I tried playing once before and am glad I never linked the account because I made many mistakes and got stuck.
2smg 2ar and 1rf is the BEST. rf shoots enemy that is MOST far way. Which is insanely important.

Get lots resources. Craft dolls a lot when hunting newly released dolls. Get many 3-4 stars dolls you already maxed out. You get so many cores
I wish I looked at this guide before starting. I'm already in core hell myself and have barely above 10k resources.
Went straight into core hell head first and now I'm trying to combat sim exp run my low level guys up to my current missions.

O shit. I think I'm in too deep into core hell. I've spent a most of my cores already on my 5* dolls and m4a1.
my new JP account is just crazily lucky af to get ump45 + m416 in the 1st manufacturing and vector + svd in second time. but seem like there are not much eng community playing in JP server so i got trouble in completing the main story (can only add very few strong commanders).
I cringe so hard knowing how my previous main echelon was full MGSG. That was a resource dump

My current main team before watch this video is 3AR+2SMG: FNC, StG-44, OTs-12, Stern-MkII and Thompon. Planning replace 2 SMG by UMP sister and StG-44/Ots-12 by HK416, FNC by FN FAL. (I got plenty dups of StG-44, FNC and Stern-MkII when I reach lv 90 for this team.
The second team is "Firing squad" with M14 (used to be part of fist echelon but replaced by OTs-12), SV-98, M1 Garand, PPs-43 and Mk23, and this squad punching Night missions of Chapter 2 with ease like a nail into cheese (it's current formation too, lol).
BTW, M14 in English server is part of present for Commander Level, so you will not worry about it's dups for dummy link, along with AK-47 and M2HB. For short, they gift you great goddess RF for your team with low cores require for long time, and she can drop in 5-2/4E maps too.
M14 being a level up reward is universal between all servers; the only problem is by the time you've reached that point, depending on how you've grinded, the dupes are useless or you're getting your first copy too late, depending in your construction/drop luck.
Kind of want to restart but oh well, got welrod and am barely able to get five seven so core hell here i come

my team composition now is ar-15, ots 12, sten mk2 , fnc and skorpion, but i got from a lucky factory a lee enfield RF. What do you think about changing FNC for the lee enfield, and then i would go with 1 5 star doll and 1 4 star doll to not get into core hell ?

I dont get how people get stuck in core hell i have 91 cores and when I tdoll produce do dailies and weeklies I always have spare not a single time from my level 1 to 50 did i have 0-10 cores lol I have 12 5 stars with atleast x3 linked th doesnt even include my 4 stars so Im really confused how people even got into core hell.
Level 83, still in core hell, all 10 of my echelons are all 5* with 1x link besides my first 4 echelons
What are cores? I seem to have not seen them probably cause I have been using 5 five stars and 5 four stars as echelons 1 and 2

FYI you HONESTLY don't need HG when you are beginner. Just use 2 SMG 2 ar 1 rf. Use M4A1, ST AR 15 PLZ!!! It is going to be soooo good for you too have them. Those two are the top 5 AR. 1:AN94 2:G11 3:ST AR 15 4: M4A1 5:AUG

Lel..i just started 4 days ago ...now im at level 22 ..when i first start.. What came into my mind was *Getting 5* unit at all cost* ..only to realise my resources were below 500 haha..i regret so much and i keep getting 2* thou ..now i finally balanced my resource and core after this incident

Ends up with 3 big Bamboo 5 stars Rifles of the game (NTW-20, IWS and PTRD in this case)...
Proceeds to wonder what devil's luck i was struck with..... To get painful hungry RFs with Niche skills for a beginner....
I highly recommend a Rifle in the group, I am currently stuck at 1-4N until I get some good Rilfles leveled now.

I am currently working on them now, main team of ARs and SMGs is 80 and I cleared through 6-6 and 0-3. I still have 0-4, 6-1E and now 2-3N to clear. I am only now really leveling my rifles to get a good night team ready.I currently have M14, M1 Garand, and SV-98 at level 40+ currently with 3 Star AP ammo equipped. They are still missing alot at night until I get them to 50 and then get the ability to give them sights.
I have rifles just never leveled them until the event said I needed Equipment Enhancement to get points. SO now I am leveling rifles and dumping XP reports in them to get teams together to clear 2-4N.Mainly wish I started with some RFs in my starting teams instead of 3ARs and 2SMGs
I think I made a mistake by investing in Thompson and FAL.
Thompson is good late game no worries there FAL is kind of meh would've invested in m4a1 and AR 15 more than FAL :)

FAL is definitely good to train when you are in mid game, not so easy to train in early game due to core issue. Thompson is worth to train, she is a great tank
@@cookiesiclink4734 her initial CD is long tho, by then I think she took much more DMG than a Spectre before her buff is up. True the invulnerability is 4 sec ( starting ability time ) but girls with invulnerability has far less evasion than any other SMG.
you will notice sometimes you can position yr girls at the front (say position 9,6,3 as if it is on a num pad), then pull them away to (8,5,2) before the enemy can hit you. Sometimes there will also be chances that you need to walk before you reaches the enemy, which provides time for CD. Another thing is, equipment and buffs helps a LOT to build up evasion. Moreover, u will soon find out HP is a better option than evasion when u realize the accuracy and number of enemies increased significantly in chapter 7 onward.
I am playing in a taiwan server, and had a hard time playing chapter 10 lol, sometimes evasion don't work no matter how lucky you are, positioning might be a better option, what i meant is, the enemy wont hit you when they cant see u, so u are taking that as an advantage, by hving girls at 3,6,9 position, stopping the emenies' movement, then quickly retrieve them and "pull" them back to position 2,5,8. At this point, the enemy cant see you, so they have to move forward and cant hit you.

my squad lv is above 70 ,still fine it hard to clear 1-4n the turn limited system hurt
Man I did the total opposite of this, lol, that's why I'm 5 months in with 5 level 60 squads
I never felt the need not to use MGs in early game. I keep hearing "Oh they chew through your ammo like butter" but even with an MG in both my main leveling echelons (M2hB and BAR) my ammo has been slowing increasing and rarely going below 10k. Right now the killer resource for me is manpower and rations, being down to 5K(especially after the production event a couple days ago)
Echelon 1 (lvl 65 ish, CE 8700): 416, St AR-15, Ump 45, BAR, M14
Echelon 2 (Lvl 60ish CE 8600): FAL , M4A1, Vector, M2hB, NTW-20.
Got a bunch of 416 dupes so linking her was easy, UMP, Vector and AR-15 are my core priorities right now, and I have about 150 saved up. NTW Ill probably swap out if I can find a better 4 star DPS RF, or since I have so many, just replace with a second M14.
Also... What exactly is "endgame" for this game? You have a number of maxed out squads, Story all S ranked, high level back up echelons running logistics as efficiently as possible.... What's left? Do you just sit around and wait for events?
Well I'm gonna be honest with you, if you were sitting on a good amount of ammo while using MGs, you probably weren't grinding enough daily.
I myself, and lot of other friends I know, easily went through 20k ammo per day using 2 SMG 3 AR (2 AR 1 RF).
But that's just my personal speed of grinding and opinion that comes along with it.
But what is "Endgame" eh?
That's a tough question.
Some people might say it's when you get a decent amount of dolls and you have optimized compositions; others might say "Endgame" doesn't exist.
I personally want to lean more towards the "Endgame doesn't exist" side of the argument.
As the game is a collection game, the true endgame goal would be to collect everything and have them leveled and etc; and everyone is slowly working towards that goal.
But that's pretty much it; agony and despair with buckets of salt on the side as you try and collect everything.

The Badass Bassist ammo used to be pretty tight for me but now it’s been manpower as well, mostly because as I said I’ve been trying to roll ksg from time to time and that’s a 6k manpower sink
Quick question: In the video you were talking about getting your second squad of dolls to 90. What's the best place in EN currently to do that? I really enjoy running 4-3 E because it's resource positive if you drag it, but I know you start hitting exp penalty at lvl 75. But, the suggested leveling stages, 5-2 E and 0-2, are also impractical atm. (5-2 takes a ton of damage or a second doll to carry, 0-2 is undraggable in EN without armour) So what are your thoughts on resource effecient maps? Should I just brute force to 90 in 4-3 E?
4-3e and 5-4e retreat runs is probably your best bet if you want to be resource efficient.
If you don't care then 0-2 and 0-4 are the way to go.

Nope. You're doing it right. You're supposed to be in ammo hell if you're grinding a decent amount. If you're running low on ammo, just stop grinding for a while and let the logistics do their jobs.
So would you recommend continuning leveling my 2 and 3 star first then swamp them in for my 4 and 5 star so I have for logistic later. My dolls are only lvl15 to early mid 20s
I suppose. Though by the time you get to that point of swapping them out, they should be fairly leveled, as I'm assuming you'll be swapping them out for some of the AR team members.
im new player and just got thompson and m200. is it worth to invest them???
Yes, m200 is one of the best rf in the game and thompson is a pretty good smg
2* and 3* are good choice, most of my Echelons are fine with just 3* and 2*, but wonder how long it would last...

I probably will, just nothing soon.
Nothing special to it though:
Give ARs night vision equipment
Make sure you have some RFs in one or two squads
Abuse them support squads
Btw I wanted to ask you if I could replace actually one SMG for M16A1, since I can put both Exoskeleton and Armor Plate on her and she is the only Tdoll currently with a flashbang. She might have definieatly not the best HP and EVA like SMGs but the higher DPS and Armor Plate togeher with the Flashbang could replace that
Was thinking about M4 Sop II, M4A1, OTs-12 Tiss, m16A1 and G36C as a new Main Echo Concept.. okay all are now around Lv 60/70 and I unlocked Ch. 0 and 6... so dont know if im still early game...
What would you say are the best 4 logistics to be doing in global to keep ammo in check and everything else ok? When its 250-300 ammo a map grinding 4-3e, 5-2e or 5-4e ammo goes fast even without MGs. I imagine this'll be better later on with later chapters considering your CN resources but right now its pretty painful. I've just been doing my dailies the last few days to let ammo recover.
So I'm working my rifle squad, I have WA and M14 to 4x with more than enough cores to take care of them and some others, and they're currently paired with PPK for the buff and UMP-45. I know that last one isn't ideal, but she's the available tank till PPK can hit 80. I'm also bringing up Springfield to add some burst DPS to the squad. I was going to use one of the other 3* RF options like M1, but I got some Springfield dupes and her unique equip dropped on my first clear of 1-4N. So here's my issue. Once PPK hits 80 she can start evasion tanking as long as she's given decent gear. What's a another good RF buffing pistol to go with her?

Depends on what you want to prioritize/optimize.
If you want some general utility buffers, Welrod and Makarov are great since their skills also help PPK tank longer and their tiles are easy to use.
If you want to buff Wa-chan's RoF to the extreme, you've got Calico or Astra Revolver.
Alternatives to those two, cause their tiles are garbage, would be Five Seven and Stechkin. But these two aren't the greatest later on when you've got decent equipment since you'll be capping the crit chance buffs and wasting them.
Now I just need one of them to drop.

You should be doing simulations every day regardless of what it is. They're kind of your "Booster Packs" so to speak.

But there's really no fancy trick to it. Just calculate which logistics give the most resources of what you need per hour and use that.

A1: your main echelon should be the Ar team (m4a1, sopmod, str15, ro) since they're one of the most useful t-dolls in the game, the last smg t-doll is your election. After that you should get m16a1 to lvl 90, because she is the key to corpse dragging (a way to farm easily) in the late game.
After doing this, you're free to raise whatever 4-5 star t-doll you like without the risk of getting into core hell with your main echelon being dummy linked x4 for a lot of time
A2: you get surplus exp as a small percentage (it depends on the setup of your data room) after every battle, getting one of your t-dolls to lvl 100 will give more than 45% exp your t-doll gets The best place to farm is 0-2 or 5-4e imo, try to upgrade your data room so you can get more surplus exp

I have springfield, HK416, 9A-91 and Suomi , and I'm using on my 1st team HK416, Springfield, Skorpion, Sten and STG. Is this good enough? also I am only level 10
so core hell is only at the very beginning stage? or it applies whenever u need an amount of cores that looks crazy? like right now im running 15 5#s 12 4x expanded am i still considered to be in core hell...cuz by numbers i do need a whooping 750+ cores to max out all of them...
The latter; core hell is always looming over your shoulders.
Just a matter of are you properly managing your cores or not.
Thx, glad i can grind 02 43e for 20 cores a day so the end is not that far...and that the current content on en server is very forgiving...
I've read everywhere that the story dolls together have a ton of synergy. I don't exactly have a 5* waifu I plan to save my cores for atm either. Is it worth my cores to dummy those 4 whenever possible?
I don't want to say dummy link all four of them if you dont have at least an AR and RF squad yet.
If you're still on that first squad, anyone but m16 is a great investment to get you through the story mode.
If you've got at least those two squads, and you haven't leveled all four yet, and you dont really have anything else to level, definitely would be worth to level them.
