- To say things got a little carried away would be an understatement!! But I am SO HAPPY!!! We went through GALLONS of pink paint on the walls, deleted a crusty AC unit/cut out , and even painted the floor black with Rustoleum black tile floor paint! -- part 2 is coming up, what do y’all think so far ?!?

Okay I laughed out loud! In the 1980's extensive research was done on how colors effect people. They found that bright pink walls had a very calming effect on people under stress. Jails and prisons jumped on board and painted their intake and holding areas bright pink. Insanity and assaults went through the roof. Further study showed that while brief exposure was calming slightly more extended exposure caused neurotic and violent behavior. Good luck!

That box on the wall was used for old 1.5 Mb data from the local phone company. That was a four slot housing for T-1 circuits. They are still used today in a lot of businesses to run multi-line phone systems.

coming from a painter, that pink ceiling had me cringing 🤣🤣 but whatever makes you happiest 👐👐👐👍👍👍👌👌👌 I would have suggested matte white ceiling, and satin white trim. It would make the pink walls POPPPPP!

wow, bright! Like a good dad, I painted my daughter's room that color with a sparkly purple accent wall. After 4 or 5 years, she wanted that pink gone! We did a lavender that was pretty toned down from the pink! Enjoy though!

You guys have a full print shop now, so look into getting printable wall paper! I can't for the life of me remember the name of the vinyl but I've done a ton of installs with it for customers.

Barbie dream house makeover fantasy is the perfect way to describe this place! I'm expecting Barbie Girl by Aqua to come on any second now. I hope not though, I hate that song with a passion, LOL🤣. But I believe that any space you're going to be in a lot, like an office, should be your own slice of heaven, this will be exactly that for you. I can relate to the excitement. I just updated my office too... By buying a rotary phone from 1940. I got some weird looks at the car show when I paid and walked off with it, but I've wanted a rotary phone my whole life. And I found out they sell a Bluetooth gateway, so you can make and receive calls on the rotary phone using your cellphone. So I'll be answering calls in style now! Anyway, that's my rambling done. Keep up the great work!
2:18 - You have proven your mechanical / machine passion at a early age. I was taking apart small engines at that age, like the size you would see on a lawnmower or minibike.

Hen that looks pure dead brilliant, the Black floor is just a braw tae look at,
but I'd keept the Doors,Windys and theier Trim and the switches and plug sockets light pink
fae better contrast, that pink is gonna skelp yer eyes in long therm.
Trust me I have 2 Rooms in pure pink, one we contrasted with purple and the other one has a gigant Wall cabinet.

I'm curious how the floor will hold up. Had something similar to that for countertops it stains and peels easy. But I've been wanting to do floors too so give us an update after a while 😁

Me being the painter i am I would have went with painting the trim black would had made it pop just a little more and paint the trim the lightest pink color.... and Sherwin Williams is the best place to go for paint it last longer and comes out alot better
Could have also cut the hole in the wall too the center of the 2x6's and used that as a frame it would have made it tape up nicer too 🙂
