    THIS is the savage OP we've been looking for in any and all victim stories!! She committed to not being bullied and taken advantage of! Lesson to be taught for all to follow in the main character's footsteps.

    I liked the way OP handled this "mom friend". Paying only for what she, herself, needed. Then handed over the full unpaid cart to the leech mom.

    I love this story text better than the one similar to this. It’s more direct to the solution on how to handle this so called “ friend”, who is a scammer. That gives her a lesson.

    OP: "If you were that sorry you wouldn't have done it in the first place."
    EXACTLY!

    Don't ever believe a person who call themselves friend/best friend even without have to know them. Those are signs of a person eager to gain something from you, it could be financial, emotional, mental, or physical. For a friendship to flourish, it takes years of trust and bond through ups and downs.

      I agree, to a point. I have one friend that I've known for close to 40 years. The second we locked eyes, (& I do mean the second), we both felt like we had always known each other. We're about as polar opposites as you can get but we just 'get' each other(e.g. - a punk rocker & a country fan).

    I had a friend a long time ago who tried to pull this on me. In the checkout line, I called security over, explained the situation & asked him to be a distraction while I sailed out the door to my car & left her there, headed to my new home. She thought she had timed it perfect because we were both moving the following weekend. But I had a jump on the move out date. Never spoke to her again but I admit, this story has me wondering what happened after I left the store!

    I would NEVER do that to any of my friends! My circle of friends are precious people in my life and I would NEVER take advantage of them plus let alone look in their purse....who does that?!?!?!?! SMH!

    • @julie.1081
      @julie.1081 ปีที่แล้ว

      @beadyarngal83 - That's because you're a good person who attracts good people into your life. Just be careful though. A psychopath comes off as an interesting/interested, nice, caring person at first glance too. I hate seeing truly good people get hurt because of their trusting souls. Vet all of your new friends until you know the rest of their stories. Stay safe! I'll be thinking good thoughts for you!

    This was so good, love how she let her know how she would no "lose big time" telling her she would ostracized her and harass her! My girl told her she would not be "bothered" and "not lay down to her harassment" Yess, give them a dose of real logic!
    And might I add the interaction is quite realistic, except the "backyard" unless that's a place they take shoplifters an office off the premises so people wouldn't hear the commotion. That would be my only guess!

    • @julie.1081
      @julie.1081 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Monique - your girl sounds like the type of women that psychopaths & sociopaths try to target & then right before they go in for the "kill shot", the said 'victim' turns around & nails them where it hurts the most. She's a definite keeper!

  • @nutty77
    @nutty77 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    I don't understand... just put all her stuff back on the shelves, then leave. Nobody can make you pay for their shopping! But I like the way the OP dealt with Tessa. Maybe that will teach her to pay for her own stuff instead of mooching off others.

    I remember working as a dish pig ‘kitchen hand’ at a restaurant. I remember a lady who would come into the restaurant with a different man once a week and stiff him with the bill because she used to sneak off forcing each of her dates to pay her bill. Cops couldn’t be called because the restaurant did get paid. The GM wouldn’t care if the poor guy had to pay but one night one of the waitresses got fed up with this woman’s antics because this woman hurt one of her best friends and when the lady excused herself to the bathroom. The waitress informed the guy on what she was doing and his was the fifth guy, she had done this too. Long story short the guy stormed and told the waitress that bill can go to his date once she comes out of the bathroom. The lady was shocked to find a bill and a missing date at her table. Of course she tried to argue with the GM but he wouldn’t have it. The lady had to pay for her meal and his for the first time at the restaurant. I left the job because the GM was a sexist and homophobic bastard. I still don’t know what happened to that lady, my guess is she is still trying to scam guys for a free meals.
