If you think deep about the lyrics, you can see how dark, lonely and eerie the PC-98 Touhou is compared to the modern windows Touhou. Reimu used to be a lonely girl, no friend, no family, no love and surrounded by dangerous enemies, the fact that the spell cards rules wasn’t a thing in the PC-98 era means that her enemies was actually trying to literally kill her. The emotions that was put into this song is perfect, Yonder Voice is probably one of the best Touhou remixers of all time.
