Exactly what I felt too most of the time it's better when it's raw because you get a feel of what the artist or band is going through or playing and it gives the music something special that completes it and if you hear a remastered version it's nowhere near what it gave you the 1st time and when you hear the original it gives you that nostalgia trip and takes you back to how and what you were doing when you 1st heard it and it's magic every time and different and unique for everyone and it's priceless
@@secondhandsock3086 Exactly. There are some albums that benifit from it and some that just get ruined. I 💯 know what you mean about the nostalgia trip. Cool to meet someone else who knows what's up. Stay metal brother!!✌️🙂
@@louisianaball not really. If anything I’d say it’s overrated. If this were released by a random band this wouldn’t launch their career if anything it would make sure they never got anywhere. But because it’s megadeth people give it more time than it deserves.
Risk and rust for sure. But risk the remaster had a lot of part changes where the others were just touch ups and vocal changes. Like the chorus of this song has more distortion than the remaster and there’s extra little guitar and drum parts the remaster cut out
Funny how this album has the least remembered, least played and forgotten Megadeth tracks. I feel like i'm on the bottom of the iceberg. This song is pretty decent to be fair.
I just don't give a shit for what people might say and might have already said about this song and this entire album, but what I have to say is that I do like this one and specially this track.
hay canciones que necesitaban algunas correcciones, no recuerdo cuál exactamente pero había una que tenía disonancias en el bajo y la remasterización resultó mejor
Im very Thankful for this album! Ectasy, Ill be there, Time: the Beginning among a couple more are Megadeth's best secret although a hated album I appreciate the acoustics and sound.
Imagine instead hearing this after a Maroon 5 song on the radio in the early 2000s 😂 I’m surprised this album didn’t blow up. Is really good. So far, so good, so now on to the next song....
If it did blow up, they would of never returned to thrash roots, Dave always blame this album on Marty, but that is bullshit cause he wanted to replicate black album success, so it was Dave's fault the most
I like the remasterded version better for this song, but 2:45 - 3:18 sounds way better because of the drum beat! If only the remastered had that part =/
Forget remastered version this is the version where Dave's heart is deep in his voice
Amen brother. EXTREMELY underrated vocals. I love his voice. This album did not need to be remastered. Same with Cryptic.

This is a very unique megadeth song - love it!
Yeah, apart from the chorus being a copy of Blondie's 'Call Me'. I do like this song and album though.
@@studas2011 Doesnt sound very similar at all. Not sure if you meant Megadeths Ecstasy or if you commented on the wrong video.
If only the chorus was better. Music wise, I like a lot of this album. Repeating the line is too much pop. I'll take SC dad rock instead.
Sultans of deth

MAN I LIKE THIS ALBUM ALL THE SONGS ARE GOOD
Risk is severely underrated

so much better than the "remaster" thanks for the upload
@Figure.09 that's a great Linkin Park song!!😂😂
Of the re-mix/re-master albums, 'Risk' was the one where I noticed the biggest differences. This song is a good example.

you could have fooled me that this wasn't remastered, its very good quality
The original came out in 1999. The remaster was mostly about reclaiming rights from Capitol.
