I’m a Mexican American, and I fell in love with wolves I think when they got promoted to the prem or if not the season after. At first I chose wolves due to Raul Jimenez being in the team, but slowly I fell in love with the whole club in general. Even after Raul left I still stuck with wolves, while they may be doing bad now I’ll still be a wolves fan.
Same, I think that’s what started the downfall. Im glad Raul Jimenez is doing well with Fulham but I just wonder what it would be like if he never got that injury
I’m a wolves fan, very much unhappy right now. I appreciate this video but I will say the downfall wasn’t the Watford FA Cup game. Wolves finished 7th and made it into the Europa league, where they got knocked out in the quarter final to Sevilla. The downfall started in the covid restart.
And looking at the 500% improvement Wolves have shown since GON was sacked, now everybody should now. The question is: why do the media hype O'Neil up so much? Why do they protect him more than other managers? To the point of ignoring the blatant stats that show what a poor job he's done, has he got friends in the media?
This Wolves team this year absolutely screams Leicester 22/23, has overall high quality midfield and attack scoring goals no problem at all but not replacing their best players properly (especially defence) will cause them to leak goals like mad which in turn will cause them to drop points which in turn relegates them 😬
Personally I believe the individual talent isn't an issue for Wolves, just like last season, this season too they have very talented players, with Cunha being the stand out, they can score goals too, its just their defence, conceding so many goals per game that makes it difficult for them to get good results

Last season spiralled downwards as both Dawson and Neto were injured for the last 10-12 games. Neto was sold and replaced with Gomes, who might develop into a fine player but is a bit raw and needs time and games to develop. Dawson is now 34 and looks to have dropped a level since last season. Age and injuries ? Kilman was sold and not replaced. His 'replacement' was Mosquera who has had a season-ending injury. We switched from a back 5 with attacking wing-backs, to a back 4 and it went horribly wrong, yet GO'N resisted changing a system that wasn't working. Wolves model will require them to devevlop players and sell them on, but if your squad hasn't enough quality then the players coming in aren't replacements for those who moved on, so the team suffers. Wolvs are trying to do this on the cheap and it doesn't work.
I see the argument about the season ticket prices and maybe its just because I'm American but I don't see the issue. Season tickets for my local American football team, Cleveland Browns, start at $790 but average $2400 which is absurd because that's 17 games compared to 38. The price going up sucks but its still decently cheap in my opinion.
American football Vs Football prices are incomparable. Football is for the working class. For one of the poorest cities in England, shilling out nearly 5% of your annual income to watch your team play drossball weekly is terrible. Especially as them prices have nearly doubled in the last 5 years.

They sold every talents that they had, young players, wonder kids, and most importantly, seniors and leader figures of that clubs are all gone. Doherty and Toti gomes are the only one left I think. Everything is in shambles, the owner doesn't care, the players are confused as there's no senior leader figure in that club, O'Neil himself is new, young and inexperienced and he's out of ideas, their squad depths are weird, I mean why do they have 4 senior GK? And only 3 CB, for back 3 tactics? The best they can do now is idk, wait patiently for their relegation I guess, or sack O'Neil and hire Sam Allardyce 😂 Graham Potter is still in the market but I'm not sure if he'll take the risk.
You said that you hate the Premier league so maybe you should start watching the Bundesliga. On avarage Bundesliga is far less predictable than the prem. Just last season VfB Stuttgart a team who was nearly relegated the year before finished second above Bayern München and FC Heidenheim the German Luton town qualifiled for the conference league. The fans also have way more influence over the league in Germany than in England which has resulted in more affordable tickets. The referees also seem to be much more competent in Germany. Bundesliga also has a winter break which has resulted in les compact schedule and less injuries. There are also no games played during Monday nights because those games are played then only for TV broadcasters to make more money. I could go on for a while but I must end this rant/comment to go eat lunch since I'm hungry.
Honest opinion : Wolves are playing good-average but the goals are an issue. The midfield is doing alright but the defense and attack is non-existent. To sell their best striker and not to replace with a well proven striker is crazy to me. the board is the culprit here, the manager gets a pass to me.
Cunha has 7 goals this season and Strand Larsen has 6. Good numbers for a non existent attack. Neto only played 20 games last season so selling him isnt the main issue. Selling Max Kilman is the biggest lose for them. Also their goalkeeper situation is a massive reason they keep conceding goals. But O neill is the biggest issue he cant coach an attack and expects Strand Larsen and Cunha to carry the attack on their own with ait nouri being a winger but there is no fluidity at all. he cant coach a defence either.

Only positive thing is that at least we will get to see West Brom next season 🤷 COYW, fosun out, GON out 🐺💛🖤🇧🇷
I hope they survive.
The best they can do now is idk, wait patiently for their relegation I guess, or sack O'Neil and hire Sam Allardyce 😂
Graham Potter is still in the market but I'm not sure if he'll take the risk.
WOLVERHAMPTON HAS SURVIVED RELEGATION
No no, it really isn't a shame.
(Albion fan here.)
I love that we are finally being taken seriously by everyone now! 🍒🍒🍒
Mason Gibbs-White… my favourite player
I always enjoy your content. But you deserve some time off to enjoy too.
@UtdUltraGGMU Sorry mate I was wrong on my analysis, thanks for pointing out facts I wasn't aware of. Cheers mate

i think wolves downfall started with the injury of raul jimenez
