I have spent weeks and weeks and weeks hospitalized. So I felt this podcast to my very soul. I was on steroids, pain meds and a million other meds and went through mentally a lot of what you went through. I have never laughed so hard at a podcast then I did watching this w my boyfriend tonight. I spent over 2 years being hospitalized for 2 weeks admission every single month. I can never explain what that is like, but you did a perfect job explaining what it’s like all while laughing. That was beyond therapeutic for me. I no longer get hospitalized every month like I did for those 2 years in 2017-2020. But I do get hospitalized every couple of months. I have horrible ptsd from dealing with those hospital admissions. But I have never looked at how funny some of the stuff I went through was until I watched this podcast tonight. And as horrible as those days were, I will now try my best to find the humor in it when appropriate. So thank you for that bc it was trying healing emotionally to hear you talk about your experience. ❤❤ I hope you continue to get better!

So glad to still have you here with us, Ryan. You’re not only one of my favorite comedians, but you’re one of my favorite people in general. To hear your story got me a little teary eyed thinking of my mother, who unfortunately passed Dec 28 2018, and thinking of when I was visiting her in the hospital while going through her bone marrow transplant. Seeing the emotions, and constant pain, and the fear, and sadness in someone you love so much is so hard, and I’m incredibly grateful you have friends like this who were there for you, and with you, every step of the way 🙏🏼
You’re an amazing human being man, and we love you

He'll never see this but thank you, Ryan. Since I had covid and a scary incident with that I haven't felt right, little things I've been pushing aside that I'm just tired of dealing with. Worried it may be heart related (I'm also vaccinated...). It's worrying and affecting my quality of life, so I called my doctor and am getting in in a couple weeks and hoping I can just keep managing my symptoms until I can maybe get some answers. A lot of people are probably like me and avoid this stuff but sometimes you gotta swallow some pride and just admit you're scared and get looked at. Could save your life. Who knows, maybe it's about to save mine.

Unfortunately I know EXACTLY what u r going through except mine ends with me having an internal morphine pump for the rest of my life. It originally started when I was 25 and got the pump when I was 28. Now I'm 42 and have had an ok life thanks to the pump. Hope things get better for u Ryan!
