@ozzymandi Yeah, the whole thing about a "highwayman" on a horse is mostly a myth. While there were a few that rode horses, most of them attacked people in wooded areas which makes horses more trouble than they are worth. Also like they said they rarely attacked coaches, they often knocked down travelers on foot, or tripped them with a rope or staff, and said the "stand and deliver" line.
