This is my ideal Fab Four lineup. Ron is a great guy and all, but he really doesn't give off such a "John" vibe. Tyson's been playing the John role since 19, he's got the role down pat.

It's really cool when you think about this, The Beatles had a day or two to perfect the songs while recording them. And off they vent on tours and what have you. These fellas spend their lives mimic and still wont really touch the original.
You make such an important point here & one so frequently overlooked! As much as I appreciate & enjoy the tribute bands, there's no way they could remotely achieve the same if they had to produce their own musical catalogue. That's why there'll only ever be one band we affectionately know & love - The Beatles!
Per Normann that's because they had nobody to mimic, they were their own person and they wrote the songs so duh, of course it would be easy to perfect their own songs they wrote in 2 days. These guys on the other hand did not write the songs nor were they born the people that their mimicking so of course it would take some time to perfect everything. they could easily have not mimicked them and just play the song just as easily as the original Beatles did. You're making the Beatles out as if they were Gods, they're just regular people, I don't know why everyone is over rating the Beatles like their some kind of Jesus Christ Savior, they just made music. This new "John" (formerly of Britains' Finest) is incredible, but just a 1/2 octave too high for some of the songs. The previous F4 "John" was just the opposite, 1/2 octave too low for some, but not all. It's a tough call, but I guess I'd give a slight edge to this one. Also, "Paul" still needs some higher heels. HA!
Eli Wurth I think you are referring to their pitch, which is actually fine. Neither of them of are off by 1/2 an octave! No two human voices sound exactly alike. John had a rare combination of nasal yet raspy singing that few people can imitate perfectly...

It's funny reading some of the comments here. These guys are excellent. The Beatles themselves would not have sounded any better. People and their celebrity worship, amazing. Some of the tribute bands perform material that the Beatles themselves said they couldn't perform live back then. Paul McCartneys band doesn't sound the same as the original recordings when they play the stuff. If it was 70 year old Paul, John, George and Ringo, people would also complain because they were no longer in their twenties.
