      The brake kit alone is 8000 euro without fitting or special pads...

      @@JerainJezza Wrong, i paid about 4500 euro for the front brake kit, including calippers, rotors, brackets, brakelines, and pagid rsl29 pads. And also includet freight and tax into norway, from the uk. Bought from Reyland engineering.

    In my books the M3 e92 is a dream platform. What an free-revving V8 and balanced chassis.

      They don’t drive that good, even with a lot of work. Drove one completely converted to a race car besides parts of the dash. Even with racing slicks it wasn’t great to drive. Guy had about 150k in it. I’d take a 40k corvette c6 and build that for 10-20 and have one of the fastest stock drive train cars you can get.

      @@KingzM3typeR handling isnt great. Weight is all out of wack. Front rear balance is all over the place and the setup window is small and inconsistent. It isn’t bad by any means, but not the first thing I’d tell people to get for the money. Awesome engine in it, one of my favorites.

      @@dondelchulia3189 maybe your comparing it to another car youve driven, m3 is incredibly balanced, driven mine even in stock form and feels really good on the ring, some sports/race cars weigh the same and even more than e92 m3 so to say the weight it was wack is surprising to me 😧

      To be completely honest I much prefer V8s which sound more brutal, like American or Merc/Audi. But I respect your preference, there's no doubt that this one absolutely has its own charm.

    Why is the grille blocked out? Doesn't that affect cooling? I get that it's better aerodynamically but you don't want cooling issues

      120 degrees oiltemp in the summer, is quite normal for BMW M cars, and i have had a few of them. The issue with the E92, is getting the hot air out of the engine compartment.

    Always love these videos! But i found this one to be pretty boring tbh.. the driver was just enjoying the green hell & not pushing the car near the limit. Which is sad! We don't see alot of E92's coming through your page, so it would've been fun to see this one getting a proper drive! Big fan Micha as always! 🏁

    How do you compare on track car like BMW e9x series to Nissan 350z HR version (the orange one) you uploaded recently?

      @@bulgarianadvertising I would imagine yes and no. The E92 BMW from the first sketch was given the inspiration for track use. The 350z was always a street car with some spirited back roads. The 350 would chalk up great with a z4 or something the like because that is also a GT.

      I've been "just a few mods" modifying my z34, and after I did full exhaust, intake, sway bars, diff upgrade and suspension, I still have "just a few mods" on my list: oil cooler, spacers, front camber arms.....

      The car here in Norway is aprox 50000 euro used, and the mods are aprox 20000euro, so not quite the cost of the car.

      @@tcstommylund An M3 with 165k on the odometer is around 25k in Germany. When I see your mods and you count every single one of the it will be almost 25k in total. My comment was "a few mods" isn't really correct, but I know the E92 needs them to be a track car no doubt. I owned 2 BTW.

      @@JerainJezza You are almost right about the price in germany, i bouht it there 2 years ago for 26k. I paid aprox 20k for the mods, inkluding the high Norwegian tax/vat, all bought from abroad. It would be a bit cheaper to buy in Germany, with no tax, and lower vat 🙂

      It works well with the TC in this setting, and it is a good extra safety to have, and have saved me for becoming a Lenz member a couple of times.

      DSC half way off, and lots of fun 🙂 I do not need "drift mode" on the Nürburgring

      @@tcstommylund If your skill depends on the DSC for not going in the wall, you're doing it wrong. That half DSC isn't gonna save you if you can't correct a slide properly and it will happen. It will even interfere in a way that controlling the slide is much harder then with DSC off... I'm not saying you are but: I see it a lot in recent years, car in automatic and all driving aids on pretending to be the fastest driver. The first thing a real BMW RWD driver did back in the day is turning off the DSC completely.

      @@JerainJezza I only have about 500 laps on the Nürburgring, and only about 30 of them in this car, and i do not feel comfortable driving with the DSC all the way off yet.. I have programmed the MDM mode to manual shifting, and gearbox in setting 5 (GTS software) and higher trottle responce. I did 200+ laps in my previous car, the Lotus Exige supercharged, with manual gearbox and LSD, and that had no DSC, so i think i can handle a car a little bit, but even tho the DKG gearbox in the M3 is fantastic, i miss the clutch pedal, for better control. And that is one of the reasons that i am planning to swap it out for a BMW 1M.

      Because it saves a lot of money spendt on carparts and armco. The car is great to drive with ESP not all the way off, unless you are on a drift track.
