Hi, I have a question to you about buying second hand gurdys, since here in sweden it's really the only way to get one and I am thinking of getting one myself. Does wear and tear really occur in a good quality and well maintained instrument?I.
@@znuffyztruggles5744 Of course there are alot of parts that get worn down over time, therefore you should try to check the instrument out before buying anything. But good, well maintained instruments usually work just as good as new ones. Second hand instruments are therefore bearly cheaper then new ones. I would guess every european luthier would ship to sweden no problem for an extra 50€ which barely matters anymore at this pricerange anyway. So If you can't find a second hand hurdy gurdy in sweden you could still look around for a new one.
I just finished the answer to your first question you propably just removed since i can't answer to it anymore -.- But this is even shorter to answer anyway. I used only one melody string wich is tuned to g.
