This company does amazing flight operations all over the world and we should be proud to call them a Canadian Aviation Operator. They've saved many lives with their unique aircraft and piloting skills. Thanks for the sights and sounds Alex! ❤
The seats in the DC-3 are probably more comfortable than the seats found in modern jets with their horribly tight seat pitch and rock hard seat cushions.
Interesting over wing exhaust setup, not typical for PT6A engines. Basler site states it lowers infra ray signature. Always good videos that you create.
We have a couple of these at Oshawa (CYOO) heading out to Antarctica soon. They operate under ALCI and White Desert. C-GOOU has a beautiful white, red and blue livery. Beautiful airplanes to fly.
In Australia, one of the early model DC planes, had the Nickname "Goony-bird". I am pretty sure it was a DC 3, but I may be wrong ! 😄 Lovely to see this old gal still flying !🧡
I thought the opposite. I can get over the different look to the engines but the sound is wrong to me compared to the radials. Maybe I don't remember correctly? It is more than 30 years since I was last in a DC3.

If an airplane could ever feel proud of itself it would be this bird.
Kenn Borek is a great operator 👌🏼👌🏼
Terrific looking BT-67s, I love the propellers.
"The only thing that can replace a dc3 is another dc3"
Awesome. First time I've seen a BT-67 taxi backwards on it own power, pretty cool!
very cool shown beside those "modern" airliners, too fun
Beautiful shots of a beautiful bird
Interesting to see a Bonza 737 max 8 in the background
Had this fly directly over me at school lol awesome to see a vid of it
On its way to Antarctica right now. Hope it's got comfortable seats.

Great hometown story! 50 years, nice.
Great video,,,but I’m having a hard time matching the pictures of a DC3 with twin otter engine sounds lol…keep them coming
Amazing aircraft design was already so sophisticated in the 1930s.
I flew on that plane in the early eighties in the Canadian Arctic when it was still a piston drive DC3.
I fly out of YYC often and one day when I saw one of those DC3s. As a aircraft enthusiasts that made my day seeing a DC3 in person
Wow, just wow. Alex, you know how to make the best videos. Love u men ✌️
I love watching the BT-67
What a beauty! I recall the days when Samaritans Purse flew their DC-3Ts into DCF (Canefield Airport, Dominica).
Amazing footage of this bird!!
Wow even a reverse procedure awesome
Pretty steep angle boarding this bird :D
What a beautiful bird.

It is funny to have the 737 beside the DC3 look like a giant.
Set your sights on 100K subscribers Alex. With such unique videos, you’ll be there before you know it. Well done.
Its really amazing to see this aircraft flying 💙💙
Beautiful video ❤

This is why I love this channel. I didn't even know there was a Gooney Bird with turbos, let alone ever see one. Amazing stuff, as always, Alex.
A company at my local airport CYOO has 5 of them a twin otter and several private jets.
Nice job Alex, I love seeing these around YYC! Those engines sound amazing too!

@@HweolRidda Yeah, the old radials do have something special about them too!
Fantastic!
tail dragger Airliner very cool
What is that Bonza 737? Never noticed it
Life in the old girl yet.
Another century with how she looks and sounds.
Oh wow so pretty
When did you record this?
The return from Rocky Mountain House was the afternoon of Oct 4, 2022 (posting day)
Oct 3rd, 1st, and 2nd, in that order.
DC-3 is the Model A of commercial aviation.
