A certain percentage of the revenue earned from the ads that run on your videos are given to you. However, they are nowhere close to enough to sustain yourself specially in the initial few year of running the channel.

Nice info mam. I have just started my journey and this is really helpful for me! But I disagree on one point with you (just conceptually, I am yet to experience it practically). I feel instead of asking your friends and family to subscribe as a beginner, it may be better to let it grow organically, and let the genuinely willing people subscribe to your channel!
Sorry to say this but in case of small content creator : if we make long videos the viewers doesn't watch the whole video then what is the result of all the effort ?!😭😭

I'm in CA final and I've started my channel..my attempt is in Nov 20 but I'm very passionate about TH-cam.. will be uploading my next video tomorrow..I shot 4 videos today.. I had one doubt. What do you use to shoot from above? Which equipment? I have 7t and mi tripod..but it can't hold 7t's weight.. please help..

Use a mini tripod if you’re recording vlogs. You can use the bigger one for sit down videos.
