i was definitely at more than one scene party back in the day where"The Final Episode"'s "OH! MY! GOOOOD!" would elicit a livingroom-wide gang vocal. like everyone would just get quiet when the song would start and we all yelled in unison 😂👊
I’m more of a deathcore/death metal fan but after giving the first album a real listen and hearing those death metal lows mixed with the heavy breakdowns and solid catchy choruses and clear vocals I was sold. First 2 albums that is. After that I moved on but I regularly go back and listen to the early stuff. First album 10/10 for sure. 2nd album probably 8/10
Asking Alexandria was THE band for me when I was in high school, SUAS and R&R are two of my favorite metalcore albums and even moshed for the first time to Cowboy King when I saw them in 2011. Early Asking Alexandria will always hold a special place in my heart.
I was about 26-27 when i first heard AA. I was getting to a point where i was getting sick of every band trying to be lamb of god. Stand up and scream changed my perspective on how i thought heavy should sound. I'm 41 about to be 42 and it's still my favorite album.
So crazy to see old tour posters with Alesana headlining. Honestly one of my fave bands, wish they didn’t lose so much popularity but to be expected with so much hiatus. I saw them last year and it was a crowd of like 50 ppl Do a video on Alesana!
@@skbmusic-n8f ah… just another greasy hater spread misinfo. I just saw them in Atlanta a couple weeks ago and they played 3 old ones. And many others off of reckless and from death to dynasty
@@drummerTBM You can literally look up their set lists, they literally play a lot of the old songs acoustic so its not at all the same. It only lists them playing two songs from stand up and scream and them playing only one song from reckless and relentless not acoustic. From Death To Destiny kinda mid and it even says they played that acoustic. Next time you go to insult people, maybe don’t blatantly lie
abit before they released the stand up and scream album i met the guitarist from this band in a pub on a night out, he bluetoothed a demo version of A single moment of sincerity (i still have it), he was a top guy had a few beers with him
The EP these guys released pre stand up and scream was just unreal. Something about those versions just felt more raw/unique/grimmy idk. Nearly shit my pants hearing the intro for the first time. Same with wcar's, skylit drives, vanna, EPs just hit differently then
coming from someone who loves music production and all stuff in the music industry background that people don’t see or hear, I’d love to see a video on joey sturgis! killer video as always!
Speaking of Electronicore, would be great to see you talking about bands like Abandon All Ships, His Statue Falls or even lesser known legends like Helia and my fav Trancecore bois Fail Emotions (aka Fatal FE) 🙏
i been waiting for this for a while looking forward to this video and a long time now im a fan of the band too there music too big fan of there music and band as well i own a few albums by them im thinking about getting a t shirt real soon i never own a asking alexandria shirt but i was a real fan of there band and music too love there music too.
Car salesman you say lol 😂 yeah no I remember when Danny got that BIG haircut and completely changed his style sometime in early 2011. It was a shocker!
Asking Alexandria was bad from the beginning. I had a feeling they would get huge by writing simple, catchy parts and capitalize on the trends present at the time. Girls fell in love with Danny and the band's image and dragged out the scene styled Electronic Metalcore longer than necessary.
Should definitely do a video about Joey Sturgus and Kris Crummett! Both were very important for the early 2010s music scene.
And the magical thing is you can go see them on tour right this minute and they still play these songs. Awesome
We need WBTBWB now!!! 😀

The first two records are all I like from the as well. They slowly sold out after that.

Man I wish I could’ve been apart of the MySpace scene. But I was too busy being a 1 year old 🙄
I was too busy being born 😔
😂😂😂

Still listen to the Album "Stand Up and Scream" to this Date. One of the best of all Time.🤟
And the magical thing is you can go see them on tour right this minute and they still play these songs. Awesome
They don’t. They might play the final episode but that’s about it

Merch looking sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Stand up and scream was by far their best album of all time. I still sing and scream these songs today.
I still remember when I first discovered them I was around 15 years old and I was so obsessed
Finally you highlight the songs you’re showcasing

I just saw them live with Memphis May Fire was a killer show 😍🔥🤟
was a teenager when their first two records came out and it was WILD
My favorite era for sure 😭 love their early stuff. Also shout out Cozy from me as well! Love his channel.
Damn, I missed out the 2008/2009 music scene. I didn't start going to Warped Tour until 2012. lol.
I paused the video just to say yes!!! Do a whole video on joey! Asking Alexandria 2009-2011 has been my biggest influence on writing music myself
Thank you so much, great video again.
Thank you 😊
Speaking of Electronicore, would be great to see you talking about bands like Abandon All Ships, His Statue Falls or even lesser known legends like Helia and my fav Trancecore bois Fail Emotions (aka Fatal FE) 🙏
Please cover, through the eyes of the dead and burning the masses!!!!! Love your Chanel so glad we have something like this
Need part 2 to the Carnifex video!
Great vid as always dude! would love to see an episode about parkway drive
Agreed!
The final episode was amazing to my opinion 🤘
Its all about selling yourself. You have to impress people to be invested in your product. They did that for 15 years
i would love a video about joey, he was the main reason i started recording and producing music
And still releases amazing content and plugins!
you really need to do one on On Solid Ground. Really fing amazing myspace
love the content !!!!!!!! AND YES DO A VID ABOUT JOEYYYYY

Great video 🤘
Hey I don’t know if you take request but you should do a retrospective on motionless in white!
Horns up!! 🤘
Ben Bruce lived in Dubai and had a ton of cash
My favorite guilty pleasure is asking Alexandria lmao
I am once again requesting a Like Moths To Flames video for their upcoming release
We didn't have social media and goes on to talk about MySpace the first social media platform 😂😂😂
I always get fooled by the discord sound effect at the beginning.
Honestly AAs most recent album slaps
Do a video on Beartooth!!!
New albums of AA are just agony to try to repeat the same success
Just a personal question. How good do you think is your clean singing?
merch looks amazing and sick and awesome i want that t shirt and mug cup man that,s nice man awesome t shirt and mug too yan u did man nice.
Their 1st album is so good, not a big fan of much after that, but ya 2009 was so great of music!
Please do a Joey Sturgis video!
👑
I miss the old aa
And now the remaining members absolutely hate their first album. 😂
I mean, can we really care about their music tastes when they put out the music they put out now thinking it's good?
Bruh, we didn't have internet in 2008 😂
Can you review a band named Jinjer
crabcore forever !
Car salesman you say lol 😂 yeah no I remember when Danny got that BIG haircut and completely changed his style sometime in early 2011. It was a shocker!
old aa was the best
now AA is dookie rip
Respect you, and the hardwork you put into the videos. The video was great, all of them are, however Asking Alexandria is 👎👎👎👎👎👎 100% dog water.

‘Asking Lexandria” 😂🫡
