I am a fan of Tommy for nearly twenty years. I had known Jack on youtube. Recently I watched both jam session. Awesome. Jack perhaps played on Squier Bullet. Incredible. He can play incredible licks on any guitars but no one can play.
Tommy Emmanuel is what he is, but Jack Pearson never fails to amaze me anew each time. He just seems to get ever better with age - like some already great vintage wine.
Jack Pearson sounded like if Django wielded a Strat, the guy is just unreal. Incredible tone from that Squier and the chromatic runs he was nailing blew my face clean off. Tommy’s Tommy, he’s a giant and also a true performer. The Gretsch sounded really thin, guys’ a great player but it sounded like he had a wah pedal set toe down. Ice picks
Check out his version of "Autumn Leaves" with Tommy. It will blow your mind if you like that style. Some of the best gypsy jazz improv I've ever heard.
Jake Mitchell I watched it and yup. The guy just owns literally every genre. I watched him play from like 10 feet away at a small party Marty Schwartz hosted at Summer NAMM 2018, he was playing a Flying V tuned to C# standard like Albert King. Best player I’ve seen in person.
Playing rhythm is second nature for Tommy when he play with his brother Phil did he a second fiddle in the band , oh no his rhythm playing is captivating his brother lead playing, his brother is no slouch on guitar
@@SuperCrackerjacks it's actually Cheap Chinese crap.. I have two Gretsch.. an arch tpo like Stuies and a sq neck dobro. They are ok as an I intermediate instrument.. but I'm stepping up now to a 1957 gibson 335 and a Beard dobro.
Too bad Stuie French wasn’t ready when these guys were because I don’t think they gave him a chance to do anything before it was over. It looked like the middle guy passed it on to him, then took it back before Stuie could get started. I would say Stuie is better than both these guys put together and maybe that is why they didn’t give him his shot?
Give it a break, that's not on any person's mind on that stage. However, you're delusional if you think Stuie is better than both put together. Jack's $100 unmodified Fender Squier sounded way better than that expensive tinny sounding Gretsch. The fact that you don't know who the "middle guy" is says it all.
Jack has serious chops and very fluid soloing with lots of colours. Surely one of the great guitarists who never got the attention he deserved.
And he does it on a $200 guitar. This guy is phenomenal.
Sound is so fat and warm and done a Squire at that, proving it's all in the hands.

Mr.Pearson has that kind of a special touch…i don’t know what is it, but you can definitely feel it. Maybe that’s indeed a mark of a master.
Tommy is the happiest musician on stage, such a great guy!!!!🤠👍
Tommy being rhythm player and jam conductor and throwing in his own magic to boot. That was fabulous fun 💕
Silky smooth and laid back as a bean bag chair yet it stirs my soul until my hairs arise from goosebumps. Namaste
RicksPicks you Tennessee boys have such a way with words.
Terrific......even theses guys get louder and louder as they play. (chuckle)
Stuie is bad azz as is his little family band.
Wow! Just watched. Three of the best! Thanks for posting.
I just stumbled across Jack Pearson a few days ago. I'm not sure how I've never heard of him before. He's the real deal.
🎯
whatsthebigfndeal same here, just discovered him recently,
Isn’t it great how TH-cam works? One of the best choices I made during Covid was to purchase a Premium subscription.
Thanks for posting Ron..........so great to see these guys struttin' their stuff........magic music!!
thanks Ron ................. like John Hiatt, Tommy and Jack should be declare national treasures
Stuie has to rely on sheer musicality to hang with those virtuosos. He has excellent chops, a great ear for melody, and is very creative.
Jack is amazing!!!!
You guys are just too much. Love it.
These boys need to put a record out together.....👌👍👏🔥🦫🇺🇸🏒🚂

All 3 incredible!!!
Great musicians! Clean picks, licks!
Salutations!!!
Now that's a couple of pros pros. These cats can really lay it down.
Stuie French burnin it up!
Wasn't Jack Pearson in Gregg Allman's band for a while, or on some of his records?
Yes to both. He was also in The Allman Brothers Band for a while.
Wow! Tommy Emmanuel has met his match. Stylistically if not technically. I like style a lot.
Jeff Gaumond I love Tommy, but Jack can pretty much run circles around any guitarist. Both are at the top of their league though. 🙂

I don't know who the dude was on the strat but he killed it. So smooth and effortlessly.
Jack Pearson is his name.
It's an unmodified Fender Squier that Jack is playing. He can play any genre that well.
All that on an $80.00 Squier!!!
He makes it sound like a $4,000 Fender Custom Shop guitar.
Jack s a Tai Chi master musically.
Who needs a bass?Jack does a walking bass line with chords.
Feels like Looking Out for Number One - Randy Bachman.
"A Sooth One," by Charlie Christian.
Jack's lick @1:11 - 1:14
Can't possibly top that.
I wish these two would do a record...... there's a version of them doing Avalon on TH-cam that is incredible....... check it out
I wish my Squier sounded like Jack's...
Amazing players all! I’d give my [add non-finger body part here] to be able to play like any one of them.
Aguante jack y las squier.
The guy in the middle seems like he has turrets!!
Jack even filled duane allmans shoes a for a bit playing for ABB
Long after Duane died. He first filled in for Dickey then as a member he replaced Warren Hayes who left to form Government Mule. Early 90s.
I guesses the name wrong, but it was super playing. 🕊🥀🎚🙏
Few
Amazing ... what's the name of this song?
It's called A Smooth One, Benny goodman
Perfect name for it cause it's as smooth as a freshly shaven head.
Maybe, The Sunny side of the Street? This was great. 🕊🥀🎚🙏
Jack's hundred dollar Squire sounds ten times better than that 2,500 dollar Gretsch.
That Gretch is japanese crap. Not from Brooklyn

I see some similarities in Jack to Larry Coryell
