Actually, the Pair Plus bet with this paytable only has a house edge about about 2.3%, which is nearly that of the Ante! I’ve had plenty of winning sessions playing this way! :)
@@allcasinoaction ya but the deviation on that 2.3% is substantial. Its going to be a ton of losses followed by an occasional larger win.
@@allcasinoaction But when you bet pair plus, you’re betting on yourself getting a pair or higher. And if you have a pair or higher, you have a very high chance of winning the ante and play bets too. Might as well get paid more for good hands!

Only 25% chance of getting a pair. Flush is 8% or so and everything else is almost nothing. Betting the pair plus alone is just hoping for a three of a kind, straight flush, or mini royal.

Were you watching? She got bad hands regardless, the ante would've lost most times. She would've been wiped out sooner if she played the ante, the 6 card bonus is only ten bucks and progressive 1 dollar so wasn't like she was betting it all on side bets.

I visited Deadwood a few weeks ago. I was looking to play AUTOMATED ROULETTE and found only one machine at Cadillac Jack's but it had a $3 minimum ($100 MAX) bet when I was hopeful for $1 bets. I guess more Deadwood casinos (Franklin Hotel / Silverado) had AUTOMATED ROULETTE machines but replaced them with RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR (RNG) machines ... but I DON'T like a COMPUTER choosing the NUMBER as to my win or LOSS!!!! Gold Dust had an AUTOMATED CRAPS game with $1 minimum bets ... I did not find BUBBLE CRAPS as I was hopeful for. The BIG SIX ($1 minimum bets) appeared to be based on PHYSICS vs. a RNG computer chip.
Never seen someone's chips disappear so fast outside of my own. Either you hate thinking and that's why you only play the pair or you've had so much bad luck you don't like the ante. 🤔😂😂😂

Yikes! That session was like a punch in the gut! Even my Botox sit-ups (50 for this video btw) couldn’t give me enough strength to resist the mild soul crushing effects of that unlucky streak!
Admittedly, when the sour became too overwhelming, I got distracted by the way the cards were dealt to you. It was like both dealers were chucking a spatula full of hash browns or scrambled eggs at you instead of cards-especially the second dealer. We’ll call him Flick Of The Wrist McGee because it sounds like some kind of 1950s western TV show character, just as Deadwood, SD sounds like a 1950s western TV show location. Also, I am pretty sure Flick Of The Wrist McGee works at a hibachi grill on the side. He seems like he really really wants to do more flourishes, but management stifles his creativity. Like, if he came to the table wearing a tall chef’s hat, $10 says he would take a card and flip a chippie into the top of his hat. Sure, security would come running immediately, but I think it would be fun to watch someone use a card to flip a chippie into a very tall chef’s hat. No? Just me? Ok, ok. It’s cool. No offense taken.
Sorry this session was as dismal as Buffy returning to Earth after being in Heaven. ☹️ When the sour really sets in, sometimes all you can do is just keep going through the motions...

It doesn’t seem like you understand this game...at all. It’s like sitting at a blackjack table and only playing side bets. You would’ve won so many hands by actually playing the game. It is extremely hard to make a pair while playing heads up in Texas Hold’em and that’s WITH 7 CARDS. You’re trying to win making a pair with 3 cards? That can’t work. Don’t get this one at all.

No no no. I’m not trying to argue with you because I like your videos and it’s fun to watch when you win but you need to delete that article from your memory bank. That number you’re referencing is under the assumption you win in accordance with the odds, which doesn’t happen (you will not hit a royal flush .2% of the time, every time). You need to look at the odds of winning each hand. When you play pair plus, you have a 75% chance of losing every single hand. This is a good reference for casinos to understand expected winnings when there are 5 people playing at a table multiplied by x-amount of tables in a casino, not for a person playing the casino. You have a 75% chance of losing and the proof is in the pudding...there ain’t no pudding.

You should quit playing this game, the way you play it you will never win. You will get paid more on the ante than you will the pair plus, you should be playing less on the pair plus and at least double the amount of your pair plus on the ante.

I was told when I was learning the game that you double your pair plus bet on the ante because you will get paid on the ante more than the pair plus.
