What a great tutorial! Thanks so much for posting this. Having the easy to follow steps made it super simple to load the games on it I really wanted.

The Pandory guys are awesome. Love their imitation of you doing "package from China" it's absolutely hilarious. Anyway, then DOS prompt has shortcuts to help if you make a typo. Hit the cursor UP key and it will repopulate the command line with whatever you had last typed. Then just use the left-right cursor to go back and fix the typo. This saves having to retype basically everything.

good video. i managed to add the sega megadrive version of xenon 2 to my pandora 3d which is pretty cool (except the music isn't as good as the amiga version). But i can't for the life of me figure out how to get the mame version of splatter house recognised in scraper!

I am having a lot of problems with Skraper at the moment. Its giving me errors where there should not be, and its limiting the amount of files it will process at any given time. Are you aware of a better software for this job, even an earlier version of this one, that will perform much better. I'm really new to this and have a Pandora 7 3D and I'm just starting off easy, trying to get some SNES games to work on my console. Any help from you or other members would be greatly appreciated

I'm trying to do an upgrade on my Ms Pac-man arcade1up cabinet and I I'm wanting to add it to my cabinet. I've already ordered the Pandora game 3D like the one in this video. How can I add mame roms without the skraper to add my pandora 3D?
I have a dreamcast Rom (Power Stone 2) with 3 bin files and a GDI file although when i install it on a Pandora Box 3D it fails. Do i need to convert these files into a CDI file? many thanks!
You can add games via usb or the free wifi game market, on my system.
I haven’t seen anyone say what other benefits there are to this process besides apparently an alternate way to add games.
well, with the game market you have limited downloads and you can't find many games, or games in your language, for example.
with a usb stick you can run roms but you don't have the preview video of the games.
also, with pandory you can access to the android SO and install alternative emulators, for example to play N64 games with well-configured controls or to save state on Dreamcast games...
also, I still didn't manage to rus PSX games from USB, still trying...
Will this work on the Pandora's Box 12S 3D RRTV? I've tried doing it manually via a USB stick by making an "mcgames" folder and install.txt file, then making a folder for each rom, adding the rom itself and the xml file to the game folders, and I've had the system say successfully installed, but they don't work. If the Pandory tool is what's needed, then I can try that, but I want to confirm that I can add games to the 12s 3D before trying.

Recently bought a 3d pandoras box saga ex2 (8000 in 1) . The instructions that it comes with tells you how to add games but the instructions are very poor.
I watched this vid hoping it would help But the issue is The Saga ex2 has 4 mame folders because of the different versions.
The Roms i have are Also a different version.
Question is How do i add them ?

Wicked, do you know why the game installer will start failing? I was fine downloading several games before. Now it will not install any new games.
Perhaps your Pandora box's SD card is out of space? I tried to add a rather large game (600MB) on my then-brand-new Pandora and it told me there was not enough storage space. I deleted a couple dozen games I'd never heard of and was then able to add all the games I *really* wanted via this excellent How-To.
I have pandora 11 i tried this didn't work. I used thumb drive. Not sure why it didn't work
the whole procedure goes just fine until the last step.
After each game I get the following message after the last prompt command:
gamelist.backup.xml - Problem scraping rom. Waiting 10 seconds...
gamelist.xml - Problem scraping rom. Waiting 10 seconds...
media - Problem scraping rom. Waiting 10 seconds...
Where did I go wrong? :D

hello I recently added Narc to my Pandora box 3d
The scrapper found my mp4 on my Hard drive for the games followed your steps and it loaded o nicely but ..... I can't start playing because no buttons work. Just the menu button works.
Any ideas?
It sits in the Default Adjustments Restored. Screen i need to press an f2 button to exit its test mode
Because it does this when game runs for first time

When I downloaded the Windows version of the Skraper. It wasn't a zip file. It says Skraper-1.1.1.7z I am unable to unzip
download a free program called Winrar and youll see that it's available to be unzipped with that program

Difference between Pandora's Box and Hyperspin is. Hyperspin is piece of software and you need always do a deep dive how to set something up.
Pandora's Box is all in one solution .. limited and flawed in some ways only easy to begin with.
Looking to buy my guess is it a clone system pandora box games 3d form Amazon and one of the things i heard form some people who got it form 3a game or Amazon is that player 2 dosen't work and want to know is there a way to fix player 2 ? Cuss i can't find video or a website that says how to fix player two i don't have one but like to know so i know if speeding 260 wood not be a waste if i run into that problem

hi need help . i downloaded the mame game "run and gun 2 " its a .zip file, and i added to the roms folder under mame37 . and tried to skrape it but 0 game found after skraping. whats wrong?
Did you use the scraper right . ??
You need that part to let the program understand what files to add ;)
@@WickedGamerCollector yes i used the skraper . and tied to run the skraper it says 0 games found. i download the game run and gun 2 and paste the .zip files to the mame137 folder.
You have to unzip the file then drop it the right folder. It won’t recognize a zip file
I follow all instructions to the t and all it does is create a folder on my thumb drive mcgames and in the folder a file called install that is empty. Ok so what's the joke here? This software does nothing.
Question: Does this procedure need a windows device cause I can only use a Chromebook or a Mac.
Program is for Windows... not for Mac 😅

@@francescorosi8217 Yes I did. I registered an account, which is skipped in the tutorial, then it worked. So try that. Got everything working but can't be bothered with all the hassle of playing games of a USB stick. Thinking maybe retropie will be my next step. Best of luck to you though!

I get a little sidestepped watching you do your computer screen in German? I understand what your saying, but the computer throws me off a bit. still working on getting a good working star trek strategic operations simulator game on my pandora 3D+ I just got, 8000 games and a game market with thousands more and the ONE game I wanted isnt there! hopefully I can use your instructions here to make that happen!

I’m not sure if it’s a fake or not but after watching a few vids, the picture quality seems to be 480 and nothing in the settings to change that...is there a software/firmware update I can apply to make everything more ‘HD’.
The settings are very limited hence why I thought it might be fake.

I'm having big problems getting any mame games to work once downloaded to Pandora box 3d. I can scrape and Pandory megadrive and ps 1 ROMs as I unzip those files. But no luck with mame, which I really want. They seam to download fine onto Pandora box, i can even see the video preview. But when I press a to start, just black screen, then straight back to the games list.
I can only scrape MAME roms as zip files. Are you supposed to keep them zipped? If I unzip them, then they can't be scrapped.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I've since worked out where I was going wrong.
Find some MAME 139 ROMs. keep them zipped. Use Skraper. Then use the Pandory tool to send them onto a USB memory. Then pop it into the bottom usb on your Pandora games 3d. Sorted. Happy retro gaming.
@@Dazoid. I tried to download 139 roms and i added them to the 139 folder and scraped them. I went back and did it again and added the zip file of the games on the FBA folder as well. When i put the USB in the Pandora box, it reognizes they are there but it says 3 games failed. It is the three games i am trying to do. any ideas?
Do you think I could finally use this to add the MAME version of Marvel vs Capcom 2 so I can get all the characters unlocked by sing the coins workaround, and maybe even save the game????
Reason being, the Dreamcast version doesn't let you save the game obviously and only the starting characters are available.

I've seen hacked DC roms of MVC2 posted that include all the characters. Does anyone know what kinda rom it has to be to work on a pandora box 18s?

After you download Skraper for windows you have to rename it from .man to .rar some moron changed it and windows will not recognize the file.

Your instructions are very unclear and video quality is horrible so I can't see what letter drive you are selecting. Are you putting the pandory files on the thumb drive then adding and skraping them? PLEASE BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING
That was my elgato doing this next time going to record differently.
First Scrape files in different folder than add them later.
1. Make folder .. add files
2. Scrape for the video's and gamelist file.
3. Add them to the main sd so with first boot up game will be added
