Michael Mayer immediately becomes Jimmy G’s go-to red zone option as a rookie: large route tree from extensive usage under offensive coordinator Tommy Rees at notre dame, has prototypical size and speed for the position, he’s arguably the most nfl ready rookie tight end of his class. He will be on the field for more than 80% of offensive snaps as a rookie. He has the potential to be a top 10 TE as a rookie and break the metrics. Which is why he should be higher on this dynasty rookie tier list, maybe not someone you draft in underdog but in rookie drafts he should be going higher than several of the receiver prospects ahead of him in your rankings.
Look out for Sam Laporta, he was the Iowa offense last year and he's was being double teamed constantly, even with a bad QB and he's a huge YAC TE. I also think he may be able to come in and make an immediate impact since the Lions used their TEs often after they traded Hockenson and never really even had a star TE any more
@cupofjoemedia7678 I couldn't agree more. There's a big difference from Te's catching 30-40 balls & a TE who caught 60+ balls like Mayer. He will be a huge force, not Kincaid level but not far behind. Mayer already has an NFL Body he will be an instant impact player
People seem to forget that JSN never struggled throughout his college career to demand targets in a loaded WR room, so why can’t he with the Seahawks too? Love his value this year

Few cases for Achane: 1. He held up getting ~15 touches/game in the SEC 2. Film shows overwhelming evidence of shiftiness to avoid getting tackled square and contact balance to get through arm tackles 3. He will never be 215+, but 195-205 lbs is realistic and adequate. He ran track which could be a reason for keeping his weight down in college. 4. Mostert, as a lesser talent, had a mini breakout under McDaniels (and shanahan) in 2019. Achane has similar pull-away big play ability, especially in this scheme surrounded by this talent, and better pass catching and tackle breaking ability.

Playing for 2024 in my superflex league and I drafted Quentin Johnston over JSN. I think QJs 2024 hype is going to be crazy when either Keenan or Mike Williams (or both) are cap casualties. I like JSN the most in this class as a prospect, but I think the combination of QJs upside, value spike in the 2024 offseason, and being tied to Herbert for his career gives fantasy managers an asset that will greatly appreciate in value.
