Need some advice.. Have picks 1,2,3,4,6 in a 12 team TE premium superflex dynasty w only one starting QB rostered (Lamar). 90% confident the dude with pick 5 is going with a qb. My original thought was taking Marv, Caleb, Nabers, Odunze, Bowers in that order. Would it be smarter to take Daniels instead of Odunze in that first 4, hope he takes Drake Maye at 5, and snag Odunze at 6? Even tho he couldn’t start for me unless injury or bye week?
I think you have to snag two QB’s only having one starter currently. Simple math in a 12 team SF you want 3 QB’s rostered to cover byes and injury. That’s 36 starters needed vs 32 available. The question is what do you think is the bigger talent gap between QB 2 and 3 or Rome and WR4/Bowers.
I get the frown on mcmillian but I believe his attention to precise route running deserves round 2 but I understand the impatience someone may have. I think the landing spots for many of these guys is much much better than last year's draft class.
McMillian is going to replace Godwin within the next 2 years. Everyone just wants rookies to come in and produce right away now. Him and Bowers hate us clear proof.

Personally for me, Jaylen Wright is in a nice spot. Achane has shown he will get hurt and Mostert, although a fine workhorse back, is 32 years old. It’s possible Wright starts for this high octane offense at some point this season. I will target him ahead of a few F bracket players.
Just traded away Pacheco and Mostert for Jayden Reed and 2024 3.03. My current WRs are older and I have Taylor/Etienne so I wouldn’t have started the other RBs consistently. Thoughts?

Troy Franklin gets a boast because he gets his QB Bo Nix. Sean Payton will use him creatively. That WR room is injury prone and the top option there is Sutton. I think Franklin is one of those players you take advantage of falling and the deep WR class. You can get him hell of a lot cheaper now and is put in a great situation. Plus they'll most likely be playing from behind which puts them in passing down situations. Love the content!! Big fan.
I had the 1.05 in my rookie draft today. Draft order went Caleb, MHJ, Daniels, Odunze(guy traded up to 1.04 in the hopes of getting Daniels and missed). So Nabers fell to me at the 1.05. I then traded the 2.08, 2.10, and 2.11 in draft for the 1.10 and took Jonathan Brooks as it was my only remaining pick in the draft. I did possibly make a bad process decision by taking Brooks over Brian Thomas, but I am stacked at WR with AJB, G. Wilson, Olave, DJM, Waddle, Ridley Demario Douglas, and now Nabers and long term RB was my biggest hole as I have Gibbs and Roschon as my only two young RB’s.
Bowers is a essentially WR2 on his team and a WR1 incoming by all accounts he's still High B after or before Worthy. Next year they take QB1 or 2 then you're cooking with him nothing changed if he wouldve went to the jets it woupdve been a 1 year benefit

The fact that you cannot find any dynasty content that isn’t superflex is wild to me the fact that superflex is convincing you people that Jayden Daniels and JJ McCarthy should be picked over Rome Odunze should say enough about the format. Equal potential/talent should maybe make you prioritize QB but when one guy is a 9/10 and the other is a 6/10 then the format should not matter. Pick the better football player and stop being like the Falcons
They’re going to put out the content that the majority of the people are going to want SF dynasty is there to mix things up and create that desire. It also helps make your league replicate real life as much as possible With only likely 12 teams , having no need for QBs is a situation that isn’t realistic. By having SF it creates that need of a position that is important. You bring TE premiums into play so TEs are viable in positions too. Sure 1QB feels good but it’s more akin to a keeper league than a true dynasty … which is trying to replicate the struggles of managing an NFL team😊
Everyone needs to slow their role on Pearsall. I swear, if he went #1 overall you'd all put him over Caleb Williams. Despite the fact he wasn't even originally in your top 25.
Falcons front office realized they were not going to be drafting this high again for a long time. Plus with no assurance right now that Kirk will make it through a full season and coming off an Achilles injury. And with a great QB to backup in case Kirk gets hurt. Kirk can mentor Penix. All that played into him getting drafted. Great decision!
You have the 3 other qbs in the same tier which I total get. For me, it’s hard to not take McCarthy over Daniels or Maye. Maye has a bad landing spot and Daniels is older, not a great landing spot and hasn’t shown to throw over the middle. McCarthy hasn’t shown a lot either but is 3 years younger get and in a much better spot, hard to pass on him at 2 for me.
Theres ABSOLUTELY NO WAY nabers and jayden are in the same tier as drake maye, jj mccarthy and odunze. Clear tier brake. Mathew berry just said jaidyn and caleb will be qb1’s from the start and nabers will me a target hog and top 3 round redraft pick and both drake maye and odunze are late round fliers. And no way marvin is 2 tiers above nabers, thats crazy.
The thing with estime is that Javonte is in a contract year and as a broncos fan I don’t think he’s earned what he might ask for and estime could take that role if Javonte leaves

If Coleman is good enough to see the field as a starter, the Bills receiving room is a little better than you’re making it seem imo. Also, I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss Shakir either…in the last 12 games Shakir led team in receiving yards, including over Diggs despite 54 less targets!! 54, that’s insane. We weren’t winning cuz of Diggs 2nd half of szn, we were winning in spite of him.

Equal potential/talent should maybe make you prioritize QB but when one guy is a 9/10 and the other is a 6/10 then the format should not matter. Pick the better football player and stop being like the Falcons

With only likely 12 teams , having no need for QBs is a situation that isn’t realistic. By having SF it creates that need of a position that is important.
You bring TE premiums into play so TEs are viable in positions too.
Sure 1QB feels good but it’s more akin to a keeper league than a true dynasty … which is trying to replicate the struggles of managing an NFL team😊

Falcons front office realized they were not going to be drafting this high again for a long time. Plus with no assurance right now that Kirk will make it through a full season and coming off an Achilles injury. And with a great QB to backup in case Kirk gets hurt. Kirk can mentor Penix. All that played into him getting drafted. Great decision!

You have the 3 other qbs in the same tier which I total get. For me, it’s hard to not take McCarthy over Daniels or Maye. Maye has a bad landing spot and Daniels is older, not a great landing spot and hasn’t shown to throw over the middle. McCarthy hasn’t shown a lot either but is 3 years younger get and in a much better spot, hard to pass on him at 2 for me.

Bills have Curtis Samuel too..he’s not Diggs by any means but he’s not some random scrub either. If Coleman is good enough to see the field as a starter, the Bills receiving room is a little better than you’re making it seem imo.
