Joining a new project without receiving proper knowledge transfer (KT) can be challenging. Here are some steps you can take to manage the situation:
    Seek Clarification:
Ask for Documentation: Request any existing documentation, user manuals, or previous project materials that can help you understand the project better.
Schedule Meetings: Set up meetings with your team members or your manager to get an overview of the project and your specific tasks.
    Identify a Mentor:
Find a Point of Contact: Identify someone in your team who is knowledgeable about the project and willing to help you. This could be a senior team member or your manager.
Regular Check-ins: Schedule regular check-ins with your mentor to discuss your progress and clarify any doubts.
    Utilize Available Resources:
Online Resources: Make use of online tutorials, forums, and documentation related to the technologies and tools you are working with.
Internal Resources: Explore any internal knowledge bases, wikis, or learning platforms your company might have.
    Document Your Work:
Take Notes: Keep detailed notes of everything you learn and any challenges you encounter. This will be helpful for future reference and for others who might join the project later.
Create Documentation: As you gain understanding, create or update documentation to fill in the gaps you noticed. This can also demonstrate initiative and add value to the team.
    Communicate Effectively:
Update Your Manager: Regularly update your manager on your progress and any difficulties you are facing. This keeps them informed and shows that you are proactive.
Ask for Feedback: Request feedback on your work to ensure you are on the right track and to identify areas for improvement.
    Be Patient and Persistent:
Give Yourself Time: Understand that it takes time to get up to speed with a new project, especially without proper KT.
Stay Persistent: Keep pushing through the initial challenges. Persistence and a positive attitude can help you overcome the learning curve.
By taking these steps, you can better navigate the challenges of starting a new project without proper knowledge transfer.

    1) Documentation about work.
    2) communicating via Emails looping with managers / lead about doubts if any.
    3) understanding a concept by working on it before asking seniors continuously.
    4) Letting the team / seniors know about some ideas if you get any for problems.
    * Always wish your team members as soon as you login. This gives a positive impact to everyone.
** Don't panic, since everyone started as a fresher in IT industry.

sometimes it feels like no one is around to help, but you could pull their attention easily. In your group, you can ping your understanding of the project in step wise manner. Usually people tend to correct wrong statements and ignore correct statements. If you are missing any important portion while explanation of your understanding, they will immediately jump in to correct you. But make sure to document their messages which can be useful if you get confused in later on stages. Always try to ping in group so it will be visible to all.
