The Boomsday Machine is the most underrated boss in the series. Great atmosphere, great music, fun mechanics, and finally makes Bowser Jr. seem threatening.
The Mario bosses aren’t allowed to do anything aside from use their normal attacks until they’re angry after being hit twice And most of them die in 3 hits so
Bowser Jr.: Hey, Daddy! I want a gant tower tank with giant fans, an electric gun, and some big flameball-spinning-thingies!!! Bowser: Wait, why all that? It sounds like Mario will get the upper hand if he has a Cloud Flower... why not Bullet Bills, or Chain Chomps? Bowser Jr.: BUT DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!! I WAAAAANT ITTTT!!! Bowser: Okay, fine! Just dont come whining to me if you lose again!
This was the most epic boss for me. I think it would be more suitable as a FINAL Boss. I mean think about it. Bowser Jr's Epic boss battle theme playing while this huge tower shooting stuff at you rolls around with treads and you have to scale it!

I hope to see Super Mario Galaxy 2 get ported to the Nintendo Switch one day, I mean if Nintendo can port over Super Mario Galaxy (into a collection along with two other games) I see absolutely no problem for them bringing the sequel over, It’s only a matter of time
You can also board the Boomsday machine by using advanced jumping (hold Z then press A to do a backflip), wall-jumping, and using the Cloud PowerUp. This can be done to avoid being hit or ran over altogether, while keeping yourself close to Bowser Jr's weakpoint at the top of the battle tank. =D

Boomerang Bros :D sometimes i despise america for getting everything else earlier than we in Europe do. i have been waiting for years to get this game and i get it in 3 more days. and i wonder. the comet medals. are they unlocking those special missions like daredevil runs and purple coin missions ? and this boss reminds me off. the underground gunners from SMG1
One thing that bothers me: How does Mario freaking breathe in space without a helmet and besides atleast SPM makes sense also How does mario shoots a cannon through space without floating off into the space itself
Two things I have to correct you on: one it's not a Cloud Mushroom it's a Cloud Flower even though you said both in the description you mainly call it a mushroom. Another thing it also was used in the Buggaboom rematch in Puzzle Plank Galaxy. Other than that, great videos and I haffta say you make some of these stars look really easy *coughStoneCyclonecough*
Well, this boss was my absolute FAVORITE for some reason. I dont know what gets me about huge over-sized, overpowered robots. I didnt like the MegaHammer though. Well, yay.
Jessica Empson Green Stars are unlocked after getting 120 Stars and defeating Bowser in the final battle again. They're hidden in each of the Galaxies.
