- Their videos are wild! Really reminds me of the spectacle that drew me to kpop videos in the first place. That ending unison rap in Goosebumps is so good!

They seem to have a really unique sound. They are time traveling, hacking, robots. I don't understand it but their MV can make me cry often.
They all headed to the military within days of each other (except for U as he is from Japan). They are the first group to go all at once. As a Fuse I am both happy and sad about this.
I am so proud for some reason? Like, they're really making history and it really feels like a great honor and a great flex to be FUSE at this point in time. We did well ;-)
it's kinda crazy how "Why" was your first introduction to ONF cause it's not only one of their most underrated title tracks but also the one that deviates the most from the brighter sound they usually have (still pretty onf tho)
Pretty sure that was my first introduction title track MV wise. Fell in love with my reaction to Moscow Moscow most of all.
ONF were real underdogs, they were pretty underrated (although "We Must Love" apparently became a sleeper hit) until they participated in Road to Kingdom, where as we know they were the runner-up group and they were really able to showcase their talents. From there, they proceeded to pump out like four title tracks in 2021 ("Beautiful Beautiful", "Ugly Dance", "Popping", and "Goosebumps") which was a great change of pace from their once-a-year comebacks before RTK :') But as we also know, this may have been partly to not leave us so starved for ONF as all 5 Korean members enlisted together and so they'll be on hiatus for now :')
Personally I love how ONF is not afraid to shy away from the mainstream sounds and concepts. Somewhat ironically, they went a bit darker with "We Must Love" and "Why" when the general trend at that time was brighter (comparing with The Boyz, Pentagon, Verivery). Then in early 2021, they put out "Beautiful Beautiful" when other groups had been putting out concepts like "The Stealer", Verivery's "Thunder" era and beyond, and Oneus's "No Diggity"! They really like to go against the mold ;o
They are so underrated 😔
Oh I've been waiting for this one!! So Beautiful Beautiful was my favorite song of last year. Like, period. It was the singular song that made me the happiest out of all songs that came out last year. And maybe it's precisely BECAUSE it's so happy sounding and so positive, which is unusual for ONF songs (I love their more melancholy songs too, but this one is just SPECIAL). It's euphoric. It's anthemic. It's theatrical. Heck, there's an a capella section!! And the music video is pure serotonin. I understand that it may sound like a typical pop song at first, like you said, but it's such a clever song and beautifully written to be emotionally effective. Goosebumps is good too, tho, I looooove the choreo, it really comes alive on stage. (also all the other songs that came out between Why and BB are recommends too, especially Sukhumvit Swimming and all their 2021 output, incl. Ugly Dance and Poppin'). Also the b-side The Realist from the BB album is a god tier song.
I have a lot of emotional attachment to ONF. They were so painfully underrated for SO LONG and then they sort of when on Road To Kingdom as like a last resort and it changed the whole trajectory of their whole career. Because the artistry and creativty that they showed on that show was completely unmatched, at least musically (their It's Raining cover is one for the history books!), and they came in a very very deserved second place. And then their whole group outlook kinda changed. Suddenly their music videos were getting views that were ten times what they were getting before and they were selling so, so much better too. I watched their final concert before the enlistment online (btw, they all enlisted together, apart from their Japanese member, which is kinda unprecedented for a kpop group, and they're doing this because they want to come back to us as quickly as possible) and during that concert they talked about how they had sort of resigned themselves to being underrated forever. They were like, ah well, we're just gonna be nobodies until we enlist. And then they went on RtK and it all changed! They got their first win and so much more recognition and like, even small things, you could tell how shook they were with how many people were suddenly watching their VLives and stuff. They were very overwhelmed and didn't expect it at all. It is all VERY WHOLESOME. They're a wholesome group. And humble. And they're like family. Hyojin and J-Us have been friends since they were kids. The whole group and their whole management team went to the funeral when Wyatt's mom died. They are FAMILY. This is also one of the reasons why they enlisted all together, because they want to be back together quickly and back with us. ONF best boys, honestly.
And as far as the RBW and WM merger goes, the way I understand it is that RBW has aquired WM as a subsidiary, so I'm guessing it will be a little like how Pledis is under HYBE but still operates as Pledis? I think we will see how this works in practice with this upcoming Oh My Girl comeback, which will be the first comeback of a WM group since the merger.

I still remember hearing that ONF would be on RTK and at the time they were the only group on the show I knew well, and I really didn't have high expectations because they had been so underrated both internationally and domestically despite the high quality music and MVs, outstanding vocals and dance (just look at how well all of them did on MixNine even making it to the top 9)
And then... everything changed
I can't thank MonoTree enough for supporting ONF through their career as primary producers of their discography and rearrangers/composers on RTK
They really showed something unique and artistic and it blew people away, I'm so so happy they got the recognition they deserve
And yes the simultaneous enlistment is bittersweet but they're making history and I wish them good health and a strong comeback as a whole unit afterward!!
@@jojo.joanna All the groups benefited so much from RtK. We got first wins for ONF, Pentagon AND OneUs afterwards and everyone has seen their fandom and their sales grow and it's just so goddamn nice to see, with how much work they all put in on that show. Tbh I had not really known ONF that well before, I'd heard a couple of their songs, but I probably knew PTG the best going in (kinda fitting that these two groups basically got married on the show lol), but I have become a big FUSE ever since then and I fell so hard. God, they're the best. I love them and I hope they're doing well and staying healthy.
for enlistment all of the members, except for u since he's japanese, enlisted december 27 and 28 so that they'll all be discharged together and can start promoting as a full group again quickly

Those synth bass lines on 'Goosebumps' are 10/10; You can tell that they had a lot of fun filming for that one.
I don’t follow them closely enough to know if this is true, but the weirdness of Goosebumps FEELS like MK’s influence (he’s one of the members).
I’m pretty sure with the label, I think the idea is the original label will continue creatively independent but just under RBWs corporate umbrella.

Beautiful was what made me a fan and goosebumps affirms that decision. I can't believe they have members going into military service already cause I found them when my name and beautiful came out. Their concepts made me think they were rookies but they debuted in 2017 (just looked that up)...wow. Great reaction and yeah goosebumps is 👍
You have to check out onf "sukhumvit swimming" it's one of my favorite kpop songs ever i promise you'll like it + "popping" by them is also so so good

as much as i love goosebumps, beautiful beautiful is so insaaaaaanely good. i still play that song daily, was my fourth most played song on spotify in 2021. that being said though, goosebumps' bridge is one of my favourite bridges ever and i actually cried listening to it the first time if you would believe it

Yeah I think I actually said in the BeautifulBeautiful request that I thought you'd like Goosebumps better, but BB is such a flawless song. You say 'typical', I say archetypal 😂 Hwang Hyun and the others at Monotree did the damn thing and continue to do so. (the man wrote Goosebumps in a SINGLE DAY, what madness....)
Good job noticing the importance of 'the cube' from the other MVs you've seen! It's a high-tech world/universe (the members with 'superpowers' have tech, there's a wrist-device that they use to jump in time and space) but there is a mystical edge to it all with 'Pandora's Box' being the maguffin the members are always looking for in their quest for a New World. :)
Looking forwards to the My Genesis reaction whenever you get to that! I don't know that you'll like it, because it's so unique--it doesn't sound a thing like MoscowMoscow, but it's similar in that I've never heard another kpop song like it. Thanks for checking out ONF and giving your thoughts!

Beautiful Beautiful is great to listen to in the car with your windows down on the highway!! I didn't vibe with Goosebumps at first b/c the MV didn't connect too much with the sound of the song for me, but when I listened to it on its own I ended up adding it to my playlist.

have you reacted to other mvs aside from these + why? if not definitely react to sukumvit swimming, the visuals are just as trippy as goosebumps. complete is also incredible; they filmed in los angeles and the cinematography is insane!!
as for the rbw situation-as far as i know, wm was acquired by rbw, but all wm artists are still managed by wm so rbw doesn’t really have a say in the artist’s creative direction. it’s just for funding/distributing purposes! they’re still classed as wm artists as far as i’m aware!! lmk if you have any other questions or anything-like i said, they’re my ult group so i’d be more than happy to answer any and everything!! ❤️❤️
This one has a lot of callbacks so yeah the cube from why and just a bunch of stuff from Sukhumvit Swimming which is the best title track honestly. For me it is Sukhumvit Swimming and then Goosebumps. Honestly tho you should check out the album it's got some weird bops like Fat and Sugar for instance.

Omg you mentioned dr strange! Exactly, the cgi team behind thair mvs are the same team working for marvel! In goosebumps mv you can especially see the resemblance with spiderman far from home(the illusion scene).
All the members enlisted together except for japanese member(U). They'll be discharged in 2023. No onf music for a while 🥲

All of the Korean members (besides their maknae who’s Japanese) enlisted back in December so I don’t think there will be any new music anytime soon lol, but both of ONF’s leaders were casted in the military musical called “Meissa’s song” (so it kind of counts as a schedule?) 👀
I would recommend “Sukhumvit Swimming” for more wtf-esque “am I on drugs” kind of visuals, and “New World” for the choreography! Objectively speaking, “We Must Love” is their most famous song so you may want to check it out too hehe
