Is everyone just gonna ignore "you will not make an ass of me"? He's Nick Bottom, like the Nick Bottom from Midsummer nights dream that gets turned into a fin donkey. I love this musical
Not only is this the original cast, but the original version as well! I was so confused by the minor differences and entire new song in the second act, until I learned that the Broadway Recording album is the refined version of the musical which was done after this!
Thanks so much to whoever posted this. I don't have the money for Broadway neither do I live in New York so this is really a treat. Thanks!!! Love musicals.

I love how gay Shakespeare is in this
how has this stayed up for six months??
This whole musical was just setting up the "Tobey, or NOT TOBEY" joke
Nice Falsetto there Christian
I kinda of feel embarrassed for the guys. They're in the most scandalous pants produced by an era XD
"tobey?!" "or not to be" this musical was created only for the purpose of this pun

Everyone talks about how many references there are in A Musical, but how about how many there are in Something Rotten/Make an Omelette
I wonder what the real William Shakespeare would’ve thought of this musical...?
"What news?"
It’s SEXY but it’s hard
It's hard
"Toby??"
I am in love with Christian and the ensemble of dancers that just sort of follow him around
When Brian d'arcy James super smiles, he is the most adorable man in the world!
New Broadway drinking game...take a shot everytime there is a reference from another musical in the performance of Omelette. lol
I love how at curtain call, all of the actors have pure happiness on their faces
