This was one of my favorite visits to Broadway despite being stuffed into the airless upper mezzanine among screaming fans of the show. We haven't seen such uniqueness in a good solid Broadway musical since.

I love how they made a reference to little shop of horrors. Its one of my favorites if you cant tell already, but it was just so neat. Especially since Christian got to be in it 😂!
i'm sorry i'm not the same after hearing "lovely love" and i will try to figure out the lyrics update: lol i have almost figured out all the lyrics, except bea's parts here at 21:18 "the first time that i saw you, i knew it once you were the one (??)" and at 23:20 "the first time that i kissed you, i was yours to turn (??)" and this part too at 23:45 "around the rhapsody (??)" (i just can't hear those parts clearly so if someone knows pls let me know) and if i know all the lyrics, i will post it in my comment with all the references i used :)
so the part at 21:18 she’s singing “i knew at once you were the one and i heard music…” also the 23:20 part she sings “the first time that i kissed you i was yours eternally” and 23;45 is “ a rousing rhapsody” Look at the video of them performing the song at the something rotten cut songs concert at 54 below. The lyrics are much clearer in that video as well as the audio!

Not only is this the original cast, but the original version as well! I was so confused by the minor differences and entire new song in the second act, until I learned that the Broadway Recording album is the refined version of the musical which was done after this!
From what I can find online, this is an early preview of the show, and Lovely Love was cut before they did the album. Same for why To Thine Own Self has slightly different lyrics, why Right Hand Man (Reprise) is missing, etc.
