I worked on them when they were new Brian, the 350s have always been great bikes. I hade a Magna Red 1973 CL 350 that kicked A.. I am glad to see Honda start making them again. CB 350 Highness. Made for India. :)
I recently found a 1969 CB250 to restore, I owned the same one 25 years ago when I was 17, about 95 percent intact in candy red and white. From what I've been told, they only sold them up here in Canada and over in Europe. Really looking forward to you're video series on this one.
It's coming up. The 1972 series will get you well on your way. The bikes are very similar with a few nuances. Go get it. I love the 68-70 models. THye had such a unique vibe.
I’d do it just for fun/practice. I’m anticipating this one needing a full top end job...maybe more depending on how badly stuck it is. Great point on keeping the crankcase. The numbers rarely matched from frame to engine tho. Be great to keep them together.
Nice bike Brian I would take the plugs out and put transmission fluid in the cylinders and let it sit a cpl day s and see if you cant free up the motor that's in it great video thanks for sharing
Hi there Brian, thank you for all your fab videos,Excellent tips & & tricks & that,1960s 350 cc vintage sounds like a & Belter h looks like a dream, you enjoy yourself my friend & thanks again for all your help from your videos & happy riding my friend 😎😎WoW I love that Exaust, you have a piece of Gold there Brian..
Technically 5. I had the gold 70, 72 CL, current project 70 CL, also the 71 CB, now the 69. Only 2 of 5 done. Lol. But parts to make at least a couple more get back on the road.
Hey Brian! I had a question since you have been such a help to me (especially that hole on float bowl and side covers!) On that remaining side cover, is the blue identical to the tank and fork? I have the original covers on my 68, but at some point someone painted the badge black where it was blue. I can see it bleeding through. Or I may try to remove the black carefully off of the the blue and polish it. Any suggestions?
@@KeepOnWrenching thanks. Yeah I have white covers. I was referring to the badge it’s self where it is blue under the 350. Someone painted mine black. I can see the blue bleeding through. I may try abs strip the top layer of black to save the blue. Thanks Brian!
I like it. Surprised it went to a single cylinder. Regardless if they had them in the US I’d be checking one out for sure. They brought back a lot of classic elements. Be perfect for. Super reliable daily driver.
I really love it my cm 400 but I need the money to buy a new one i sat on the Honda ctx 700 and even though it weighs more than my 400 ,, it’s so balanced that it feels like nothing to me so I can get a used one in white with the fairing w/500 miles on it 2015 model for 4999$ so if I get 2000$ for mine I’ll b golden
Time to take the sparkolaters off and filling up the engine with trans fluid or metal safe derusting material and letting it sit for a while, bet it won't take much to free it up
Man I guess it’s Bc I don’t have the funds or a garage and limited tools and desire plus my back and neck issues but I’m still on my 1 st bike !! Lol 😂 it’s actually together enough that I’m selling it Bc for me with my physical limitations it’s heavy for me! As you know 40 years old bikes were made with real steel heavy materials compared to new bikes
Little Giant! And the tank looks minty!
Little giant for the win!
I love the idea of black header wrap on the CL exhaust. It would look really tough. Glad you found the CL pipes AND a new bike project. Go, man!
Yeah it’s all gonna work out well I think.

I wish they brought them to the US. I’d be in line to grab one. They look really slick.

@@KeepOnWrenching the 72 series is amazing. Can't get enough. I binged 7 hours of it today.
I really tried a lot. Lol
Always keep the engine it left the factory with in it, even if you only end up using the correctly numbered crank cases!
Agree a million percent! It makes me cringe when I see people pull motorcycle original engines.

Done! Both plugs came out easy last night (unlike the 72) and marvel is in the cylinders. Give it till the weekend to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks, Akbar. Glad the vids are helpful. I’m so happy with the 69 so far. Not a bad deal at all. Be safe. Be well.
Cool, Brian: a CB350 plus an exhaust for your other bike, assuming that's what you want to do. So we now both have blue '69 CB350's!
Nice, Ray! Yup. Definitely thinking that CL exhaust can go on the silver bike we are working on now. Gotta start plotting a course.
Congrats Brian!
Thanks, Don! I’m loving this bike. If that engine would break free that’d be huge.
Wow, it looks real nice great score
It really is great.
Lucked out and have the "Type 1" motor with its 'Fat Cam"
Special deal for sure! Looking forward to rebuilding it.
Cool lookin bike Brian. Soak those cylinders with Marvels. Put it in 4 th gear and sea if it will break free.
Plugs came out easy. Marvel is in.
Nice find!!
Thanks, man! Really excited to dive into this one. I hope the tank is as clean as it looks. Also, I enjoy your channel.keep up the good work!
So if I’m not wrong, this will be the third bike you are building in the past year?? Thanks 🙏 Mike

Congrats on the awesome find Brian! Do you usually restore these bikes for your own collection or do you usually resell them after restoration?
I haven’t sold one yet. Lol. But eventually I’m sure I’ll have to start moving some of them either for sale or through a charity or something.

I believe so. I’d pick the the old paint out and repaint according to online photos. Some of those had white covers too.

You shud see the new Honda CB350❤️ which was launched in India last month
We've seen it. Meh

Still trying. Not moving yet.
that thing would sell for $ 2k as is in Utah
This one is pretty rough but they are a unique early CB.

The 69 was heavy, man. Definitely quality machines.
How much was it? 500?
300
LOL! If they could load the bike without all of that hoopla, don’t you think it could be unloaded without all the hoopla?
It was actually lifted into a truck bed via a tractor scoop and ratchet straps.
